Dr. Jinright is an easy teacher. You don't have to show up to class and everything is online. The only issue is, the class is really boring if you do go. He cares about you and will help you out. Easy A.

This is the easiest class I've taken. You never have to show up, he rarely gives pop quizzes but even when he does, he gives you a chance to make them up on Canvas. You have to write a few papers but they're all like one page. Definitely a GPA booster

This is by far the easiest class I have ever taken. I showed up 3 times throughout the semester, so I had to make up some quizzes by writing papers or answering questions. It has a decent amount of busy work, but it's definitely worth it. He is awesome!

This is the easiest class, all you do is watch youtude, don't need to go to this class at all he does not take attendance, everything he teaches is online and all of the assignments are on Canvas. The papers he gives to write are super easy and he does not read them. If you do miss a pop quiz he puts a paper online, all of the paper are 1-2 pages.

Easiest A EVER, I always went to class because sometimes he would give Pop Quizzes but those were really easy. Didn't have a test except for the final. He told us to read the book, but no one ever did because it wasn't like we would have a test. I told him for an elective. I like him as a person

I love Dr. Jinright as a person but as a teacher I have mixed feelings. He has a very droning voice and he trys to cover it up with jokes that never seem to come out right. I loved his class and I love him but take these reviews into account.

A real class act and the best musician anywhere! He doesn't teach like the other faculty and sometimes he seems easy, but you're really learning at like a grad school level, except explained in a way a child could grasp it.

super easy course. goofy guy and he's always willing to take late work. doesn't expect or want long essays or responses to his homework (which is always simple) gives you a study guide for tests, which are all matching. really easy class

Here's the deal with Dr. Jinright: he's an absolutely brilliant man, but you should just take him for MUI classes like Instrument Repair. He knows his stuff, but you need to know how to get it out of him.

Dr. J is a super nice guy, and funny in a very cheesy way. You will enjoy his class, and most likely get an A. Pretty much the worst-case scenario for his Theory class is a B or B+. If you're a music minor, take him! If you want to succeed as a music major, DO NOT take him. Especially not for Aural Skills.

I agree Dr. Jinright is a great guy...but I think his classes are really unorganized. He seems more interested in entertaining you and getting your reaction than he does in teaching - I think he's insecure. I had Dr. Hix after Jinright for aural skills and learned much more in Hix's class.
