Comment:

Breaks the material down into parts, tells stories and uses the material in real world application. Very funny and kind man. Show up to class, take notes and you will do just fine.

If you attend class and take notes, it's an easy class. Tests are lecture based (although attendance is not required) He makes his lectures fun as he usually tells a story describing the concept. He gives out study guides to prepare for the tests and is available to review them with you during office hours

Comment:

There are three tests and a final. The lowest score is dropped. He gave extra credit on the final exam day in the form of a smaller quiz. You do not have to go to class ever, except for exams if you do not want to. I did not buy the book. The tests were pretty straightforward. They are pretty similar to the reviews he gives you. GREAT PROFESSOR!!!

Love Randy!! He is easily one of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures are so entertaining and applicable to daily life. However, he does not use D2L at all so make sure you take good notes in class! There were only 3 tests and a final. Lowest test score dropped.

"Randy is just talking" - Randy Goodwin, Circa every class. Randy is hilarious and uses real life experiences to explain economic concepts and, trust me, this man has lived a life. His stories are captivating, hilarious and actually really good at getting his points across. He's an insanely cool guy, recommend 100%.

Randy is a wonderful professor. I'm so sad it's his last semester before retirement. His lectures and stories were so inspiring, and his personality is one in a million. Only 3 exams, final is optional depending on your grade comfortability. Gives study guides for each exam. So kind and flexible with students. A must take! He's a KSU staple!

Take Randy!! My favorite professor thus far. Three tests with an optional final. He is hilarious and keeps the class engaged. He recommends not getting the textbook because he will tell you everything you need to know so go to class and take good notes. One of the best!

Randy cares about his students and is actually passionate about teaching unlike a lot of other professors. He gives great lectures and uses his humor to keep the class engaged. No homework, no quizzes, just 3 tests with an optional final. The lowest grade gets dropped. The best professor I've had thus far. Would most definitely take again

Randy is very straightforward on how to do well in his class. You come to class listen to his lectures (which are actually very interesting) and take notes. Then for the test you study your notes and a set of practice problems he gives you. He does three tests and an optional final. He knows what he's talking about and makes it pretty entertaining.

Comment:

By far one of the best professors I have ever had. Not only does he teach really well, but he is really funny so he can keep you interested. Only graded on three tests and an optional final, but the tests are really easy if you go to class and take notes. The study guide also really helps on the test. Overall show up and TAKE GOOD NOTES.
