I have had Dr. K for so many classes at SHU. I can honestly say that as a professor he is great, and as a human being he is a fantastic guy. I know he is retiring soon but if any students who havent taken him yet have the opportunity to, I would certainly reccomend it.

Dr. K cares about the real education (or "inquiry") of his students more than any other professor at SHU. For one of my classes he wrote the textbook. Very knowledgable man. A good mentor. Always available to talk with his students (you can learn a lot at his office hours)

I love Dr. K, but I will admit his lectures can be a little dry. He repeats himself A LOT. You are not allowed to bring you laptop to class. His tests are impossible, but Ive always managed to pass with at least a B. He has a heart of gold and loves when you come to his office to chat.

My favorite professor at SHU (maybe ever!) He is so smart, and nice and makes you think! His tests are directly from the reading, so no surprises there, and his class discussions are usually not about the reading at all, but about current events or interesting quotes he has picked up along the way. Take him before you graduate! He is the best!!!!!

such a knowledgable man....he is like a walking encyclopedia. Tests are usually Multiple-Choice, however, they usually are tricky and require you to study all your notes, *AND* read the book for sure as he does not always talk about the whole chapter, and then pulls questions from it on the exam

He is a great teacher. His interest is in making sure his students learn and he always has time for them. This approach to teaching is different from others and I really enjoyed his abilities to teach. While the subject matters may not be that interesting. Dr. K as a person, makes the class.
