Useless lectures that dont help solve lengthy homework. Wastes tons of class time doing random activities. Often spends 30 minutes getting it together and planning hw/project IN CLASS. fine print* on exam rules... which is absolutely absurd. Slooooow and unfair grader. Do yourself a favor and go to another school

Best professor I've learned at SJSU so far. He is very organized & gives many activities that helps you to keep up with the course. He is willing to help every student with his project by correcting small details. I learned not only about the knowledge from the course but also the methodologies that he used to teach the class.

terrible professor. the homework is extremely hard and it is base solely on textbook. the textbook is flawed and is based on the assumption that you are proficient in Vector operation (3D). he spend too much time doing easy stuff in lecture and he wouldn't cover anything useful at all. spot quiz every week and they are 30% of the overall grade.

Comment:
His lectures are on Power Points, however, he does leave empty dotted boxes, which he thinks are important enough that you should fill out. When he assigns homework, it is due a week from that day before class. On that due day, there will also be a quiz. Quiz problems are usually textbook problems he didn't assign with slight variations to it.

He does all his lectures on powerpoint, which is a waste of class time. And the material he puts on tests are nowhere near what he lectures on or gives homework on.

I wouldn't recommend taking this professor. He wastes a lot of time in class doing useless things, and his lectures are all powerpoint. Gives poor examples, meaning they are really simple and the exam problems are way different. Overall he knows his stuff but, he's not what I consider a good teacher.

GREAT professor. Tries to keep the class interested. Very clear and understandable lectures. He'll summarize key points and would go step-by-step when discussing a problem solution. Very helpful and offers extra credit opportunities. Exams are reasonable. I recommend taking this prof!

Presentaions are very good but not immediately available on website. Homework is hit or miss - only correct answers earn credit - no partial given. He is concerned on student's needs and available for help in class and office hours. Overall - great instructor!

Very well prepared, enthusiastic and engaging lectures. Tests are directly from the reading, which is very interesting by the way. Lots of cool videos on manufacturing processes. Lucky to have this guy at SJSU because he could be teaching at a top school easy.

Great teacher, good personality. He teaches throughpowerpoint, print out the lecture and follow along as the equations are complex. Ask questions and he will answer, go to his office hours and he is more than willnig to help. Grades fair, teaches what you need, and is always cheerful and energetic. Highly reccomended.

He is quite simply the best ME professor at SJSU. If all other professors would follow his teaching example, SJSU MAE would be #1 in the country for undergrads without a Masters program! Extremely well organized, extremely easy to follow. This guy is constantly thinking!

Not sure on this one. He lectures using powerpoint, and sometimes writes things on the board. I didn't really like that, but it all depends on your learning style. Tests are a little weird, but he puts problems that make you reason through the them and sorta check your work as you go.
