This class ruined my gpa, helped me "not" get into the business school. The TA was telling me about dropping the class, that would have so much better. Letting him continue teaching is a downright atrocity. Teachers like him=illegitimate department

After enduring a quarter of Macklin, I believe it to be a well-founded theory that he has Alzheimers. He is an extremely confusing teacher who constantly loses his way during examples and spends the majority of lectures being guided through his mistakes by the students he is supposed to be teaching.

His lectures made the material harder, he assigned twice as much work as the other professors for this course, and his final was so hard that people either fell asleep or got up and left after 30 minutes. Even the TAs felt bad for us.

This guy was horrible. I never found anything he said beneficial. One night, he went as far as to say "Well, I don't know how to teach this to you guys, so you'll just have to do problems." Yeah thanks TEACHER.

Macklin cannot lecture well. Think of Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but with half the speed and persona forth of useful knowledge. Macklin is nice enough, but with our grade on the line and the fact that only 1/3 students attend,avoid his class

Macklin doesn't lecture on the material in the homework until up to a week after it's already been turned in. It's almost impossible to learn from his lectures cause he is unclear and lectures right from the book.
