I thoroughly enjoyed it, not necessarily because of the course content, but because of the prof. It was my aim to try to make him squirm as much as possible by making continuous eye contact with him. I was thoroughly amused! Seminars were doubly funny, but also well run. I'd recommend taking a course with John; he'll give you his time and effor

I did click the "hot" button, but I must say its mostly about his eyes. As a prof, he is kind and inuitive, extremely helpful, very clear (sometimes overly clear), and very involved in his classes and with his students. Great guy, great prof.
