Dr. Mercer is my favorite professor of all time! After taking 6 of his classes, I can say he is very consistent and he loves his job and his students. He gives a lot of homework, but he also gives clear instructions and Grade A quality examples for many assignments on his website. And he offers to review your rough draft before your papers are due.

Dr. Mercer is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! He is the consummate professional: he has the rare ability to bring the very best out of his students and then make them love him to death for it. NSU is VERY lucky to have him.

Mercer is awesome! He has a great sense of humor and makes even the most difficult readings easy to understand. Do the study guides and you'll be in good shape. Most quiz questions come from the study guides and they also help with exams. He is the BOMB!!! Fabulous teacher.

I've taken Dr. Mercer several times. He is very tough, but he bends over backwards to help his students meet their goals. My advice for his class is LISTEN INTENTLY & follow his EXACT directions. You won't have a thing to worry about if you do.
