He looks like Col. Sanders but he's pretty kool. His lectures average about 30 minutes of class time. He usually reads his notes off to you and doesn't do much writing on the chalkboard. You can get by with not using the textbooks. Just write down what he says and you'll pass with a B+. He's not the type of HSS professor that hands out A's.

Awesome professor. The lectures are usually to the point and he will make good use of class time. If you're interested in the classes he teaches and you want to make the effort on the papers a few nights in advance, you will do fine in the class. You'll do 2 papers, 2 exams, 1 final. Take care of the papers early and you're set.

Comment:

Looks like your typical history teacher: chubby, white hair, glasses and beard. Makes the most of a boring class, so if you are really interested in history, then it's not boring. Usually dismisses class early. A little picky on the essays and demanding on the tests, but a great teacher and easy going. Will give you a second chance if needed.

Best teacher ever. Makes boring as hell history courses not so boring and teaches the material very well. He's so good that I took him for almost all my HSS courses. I wish all the other professors at NJIT was like him.

Great guy, easy to get absorbed in his lectures. If you don't mind reading 30+ pages between each class and taking copious notes, he's great.
