You will take note like crazy! On occasion he will tell you certain notes to highlight b/c they'll be on a test. But he doesn't do that very often. He is an elderly guy and tends to get cranky over little stuff. He's not the best prof i've had but he isn't the worst.

These people are pulling a kangaro trail on this guy. yes u take lots of notes but class is easy i didnt even have a book and got an 88 so its no t hard lol. out of 50 questions 5 are form the book .just pay attention and take notes. youlll do fine. lazy people didnt like him, due to not taking notes. its a lecture class for a reason

Anyone the tests being to hard must never had paid any attention in their high school history class. This class is a breeze. Everything you learned in high school you learn again. His voice is boring, but he is an awesome old man. Go for it if your not afraid to take a lot of notes.

Wow, I dont think i have ever taken so many notes in my life. When class started, he started lecturing and did not stop until class was over. It was horrible. And you had to write down everything that he said because you didnt know what was going to be on the test. And he doesnt tell you what to study for the test so you have like 30 pgs of notes.

THIS CLASS SUCKED BUTT. SOME DAYS I WOULD HAVE 7 PAGES OF NOTES FRONT AND BACK, YOU DO NO WORKSHEETS OR ASSIGNMENTS, HE GIVES 2 MAP TEST THAT = A TEST GRADE AND THEN 3 OTHER TEST. I WOULD ADVISE DOING THE XTRA CREDIT FAMILY PAPER.

the class is pretty easy, but u have to make sure you study study study! take lots and lots of notes from his lecture. i wouldn't waste my money on the book cause his tests are over his lecture basically. each test has an essay. which is kind of hard. just be prepared to take notes. he talks fast too.

He is a cute old man! His class can be on the boring side at time...Ive even almost dozed off but all in all he is a good teacher! Be prepared to take LOTS of notes and not too miss much class! at first thought class would suck went to class it sucked listening to an old sage. got better really interesting he knows his stuff just listen to it. u take 3 map quizzes and some exams the exams were alright. he is helpful. just show up to class on time and no cell phones. let urs go off and see what happens funny as hell!he gets all serious lol

Dr. Osburn is so amazing! His classes are so interesting and you take so much from them. If you don't like taking lecture notes the entire semester, don't take him b/c that is all you will do. But you will learn so much that it doesn't really matter.

Dr. Osbourne is a very intelligent man. His class is mainly lecture. He is funny in his own little old man way. His class is very boring at times (even I am guilty of dosing off) His tests are straight from the notes and about 5 questions from the book. Also has essay. Fairly easy.

Dr. Osburn is a very sweet man, but his test are very hard. He covers alot of information before testing so you have so much to remember. The book is worthless, you must attend class and take detailed notes. He is very educated man, but needs to take some time off.
