I hate this man. He couldn't care less about the students. Very liberal and doesn't listen to different views. Can't wait to get out of his class. I was serious about majoring in political science until I took his class now I never want to take a political science class again.

He thinks our generation sucks at writing, so he often writes poor writing on your papers, BUT he gives generous grades. Lowest paper I got back was a B+ and it had "poor writing" all over it. YOU MUST READ THE NY TIMES INTERNATIONAL SECTION BEFORE CLASS (pop quiz).Also, do assigned readings because he will single you out and question you about it.

Easily one of Fordham's best. Tough if you've never taken a class on the Middle East, very informative if you have. The amount of reading is overwhelming at times but he tells you whats important for the test. He's a really nice guy and has an amazing sense of humor.

Such a great class! Sometimes Entelis gets sidetracked in class with personal stories and tangents. But otherwise, it's a fascinating class. Entelis has lots of first hand experience in the Middle East. His classroom is very interactive, if you're bold enough to ask questions and engage.

He's smart, enjoys discussion on his topics, and is well-versed in political science and middle east studies; he has many publications and is considered one of the foremost experts in New York. Many books, 2 15 page papers. You can get away without reading but shouldnt. Class is much better knowing the material for discussion.

I love this guy. Brilliant, knowledgeable, humorous, laid-back, truly cares about his students, definitely the best professor I've had during my two years at Fordham. I had him for two classes this semester and learned a tremendous amount. I respect that he does not waste our time with busy work, and assigns only what is important.

PolEcon Mideast. Very nice man. Excellent teacher and brilliant, I agree. If you are offended by jokes etc, you can WITH CULTURE, approach him IN PRIVATE while allowing his position say how you feel. He will not retaliate and he will relax in class. He is a good person and a great teacher. And yes, his really is hot. And single as of 2006.

Truly one of the best teaching assets available to Fordham students. Fulbright scholar, always cites NY Times articles, and great readings. You HAVE to take his classes. I could listen to this guy's stories about the Middle East for weeks at a time.

Definately Liberal. Sometimes drops anti-Bush jokes that serve no learning perpose. But has a good sense of humor and he DOES listen to other point of views, unlike some liberal professors. Grades very fairly, makes class interesting. Highly recommended.
