I had the good fortune of John being my Earth Science Geology lab instructor in 1981. Perhaps he has changed over the years, but I felt I had learned a great deal from him. I have had a greater appreciation of Geology since his class.

I had him for Earth Science back in 1987. That long ago that I cannot forget the guy. He threatened to have me withdrawn from his class for attendence. I was getting a C, and he said if I drop below a C, my ass was his. He was a dick. I was paying for my own school, and had a real job then. The guy was very condesending. I don't recomend any kids taking this ****s class. I am 37 years old now, and own my own successful business, and this guy wouldn't make it in the real world.

A very difficult person.. A party****er if you will. He has very strict ways and puts too much pressure upon students. That's not a bad thing, but man... it makes my head hurt thinking about his classes. I always found that he had his "Favorites" and pretty much everyone else was just in outer orbit until he made you look like a fool by putting you on the spot. He's just a little too picky, not my taste... To each their ow, but I hit the road and ain't ever coming back!!!

He's not bad. His sense of humor is hard to get used to, but he lightens up midway through the semester. He's really smart, but he kinda thinks Russia is going to take over the world again. He's amusing if you dig conspiracy theories. I'd recommend him over anyone else, though.
