Very sweet man, he knows his information but can get a little carried away at times. There are 4 major test that pretty much determine your grade. If you go to office hours he will help you and will pleased that you came. Some test problems are taken from homework problems

Professor Quinn is a little scatter-brained, but he definitely knows what he is talking about. He assigns homework, but you don't have to do it. If you have questions, you just email him and he'll do the problems and post them online for you. You are graded on only 4 exams, but they are all easy. He posts his old tests online, so practice those.

His lectures can be flighty at times but always gets to the point. You can tell how smart of a man he is based on his reactions when students don't understand something. There are 3 tests worth 30% each, 3 quizzes worth 10% combined, and non-collected homework. Most of his tests and quizzes are STRAIGHT from the homework.

Four quizzes for 25% and three tests at 25% each. Great professor. Even if you get the problem wrong, he will only take off 2 points while the problem will be worth 5, for quizzes, and as high as 8 points on tests. He also takes problems STRAIGHT from the homework or class assignments, which are all posted Blackboard, including answers! Great Guy!

He has no idea how to teach...he just stands there and does nothing. He is so unclear. If I didn't take Calc last year as a senior I would be flunking this class like no other. I have to teach myself new stuff in this class because clearly he can't.

Quinn is the nicest man. I'm terrible at math and I'm actually starting to understand it now because of him. Tests and quizzes are all based off of the homework problems, and he gives you points for just attempting to do them. Great guy, take his class.

Loved professor Quinn! Do the HW, because most of the questions on the homework are on the exams. If you leave some questions blank, he'll give you partial credit. Same with getting it wrong. If you have any issues with the homework, e-mail him the night before and he'll do the questions before starting class. I would take him again if I could

Quinn...He legitimately doesn't teach. He skips to step number 6 on the board and goes "Okay, did everybody get there?" And if you ask him a question, he never answers it, he'll just beat around the bush and never actually give you a straight answer. Not a good teacher, loves linear programming too much, even when the class isn't on it.

Quinn is a great professor. He loves his students and is a great teacher. He makes great study guides for this class which make a lot more sense than the book. His tests are fair and if you understand the material you will do really well. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a good math teacher!

I would definitely take one of Quinn's classes again. He is very nice and genuine guy. Although sometimes his descriptions for how to do things are vague, he goes out of his way to make sure you understand it. I found I learned best from the book. His tests are VERY difficult to fail if you know the general idea of what's going on in class.

Professor Quinn is one of the nicest people I've ever met. His tests are graded EXTREMELY generously. He usually picks good examples from the book for HW, and the class examples are good too. He puts a lot of effort into teaching- actually hand writes notes (kinda hard to read), photocopies them and passes them out. Great Guy

He gives practice tests which he bases the test off of. The bad: If you weren't given a practice test, you would not only have no idea, but you would say, "I legitimately think I've been staring into a black hole every AM333 class this semester." He teaches by hand-outs, and by teaches, I mean bores. He has OCD, yet he bores. I just blew your mind!

Great guy. Really helpful and easy. Def. take him. Hands out all you need to know for test in a study guide and gives you a lot of papers to study from, as well as some book problems. Study that before the test and you will get an A in the class, no problem. 4 test, aplia (grade doesn't matter, and one small project. Thats is, take him.
