I really liked his class! Lectures were mostly very interesting and he gave study guides for the test so you always knew what to expect! Really nice guy and seems very understanding. He lets you know what he expects. Show up to class, take good notes, read the books and do the study guides (there are 4 for the semester) and you'll do great!

Professor Relethford is the bomb. I took four classes with him, and each class it became clearer that grades didn't matter to him, he just wanted you to understand what he was teaching. Incredibly smart and funny.

This class is simple if you show up to class, take notes, and read the books. I would suggest using the study guides while reading and make a quizlet! As long as you complete the study guides, you will get an A! He is a very nice guy and very understanding, gives you what you need to pass. 4 exams and he counts the highest score twice.

A fantastic professor and an even better person. Each lab is graded by the next class or week and you have the opportunity to get all your points back. His tests are open-notes on three books. He tells you what the essay questions themes will be ahead of time so you can take notes. I COMPLETELY recommend for an easy class, anthro major or not!

Relethford is great. Has review guides that resemble the tests and counts your highest test grade twice. Not much on his slides so paying attention is important. No homework at all.

This guy is great, and the class was a delight. I was interested in what he had to say, and I felt really prepared for every exam even if I missed a lecture. His study guides save lives and he is a really nice dude. Two thumbs up

Relethford is a great teacher. I had him in a 100+ person lecture so attendance didn't matter but it was necessary to pass. He doesn't put much on his slides but he makes it clear what he wants you to write down. If you study the book (he wrote it!) hard for the tests, you will do fine. He made me very interested in a subject I knew nothing about

Great professor that verbally explains the important parts of the chapter. Not much info on his slides, so pay attention. All the tests are fairly easy, but he no longer gives out study guides like past semesters

Relethford is a great professor. He's intelligent and explains things clearly. 3 tests and a final. He counts the highest test grade twice. Unfortunately his power points didn't have much info so studying for the test was mainly reading the textbook. He actually made the subject interesting. Would def take another class with him

He is a good teacher, but not great. Powerpoints during lectures do not have that much information on them. Suggest keeping up by reading the textbook and filling in information on the study guide that he does not go over during class. Four tests with an optional final are not that hard. Overall, I would recommend taking this class with him.

This class is not hard if you go to class. Your grade is based off of 4 tests, which he gives you a review sheet w/question topics for, and a book review assignment. He is a great professor- he's funny and loves the topic he teaches. Although I thought it was interesting, if this isn't a topic you're interested in then the class may be boring.

I couldn't follow along in lecture because he speaks without much on powerpoints. However, he is a very knowledgable prof. He wrote the textbook you have to buy and tests are straight from the study guide/textbook. As long as you study the guides for the 4 tests (opt final) you should have no problem getting an A. He is pretty funny also!

he is great! lectures are easy to follow and he answers questions in a way that is easily understood. as long as you show up to class there is no reason you shouldn't get an A. exams are the only grades but the final is optional.

Such a good professor! As others said the class can get boring. He gives 4 tests through the semester with an optional final. Study guide made in advance for every test and as long as you do it you should be fine. He really tries to make the class interesting and he has a lot of experience that he likes to tell you about. TAKE HIM.

This class is awesome, i learned a lot and he is very easy to understand. Some lectures can get boring as he drifts off into unrelated topics often. But the tests are exactly whats on the study guide, and are easy if you studied those. He makes class enjoyable and interesting and id definently recommend this course!

Relethford is a nice guy and the class is pretty easy. However I found him to be ok as he rambles a lot about the same material. I also had no interest in the subject at all. But I still managed a B .
