I wasn't aware of the existence of this website back when I attended and graduated in 2005 with the A.A. Psychology Concentration. Inspired by this prof to be a psych major. From 2003-2005 I tried to take every psych class taught by this amazingly awesome instructor. Highly recommended. Not a dull moment. Hilarious. Loved attending his classes.

His tests are hard and he is strict on no make up tests. But he is a great teacher. I learned so much and his classes are fun. He keeps you interested and makes you participate in his class. He wants you to learn the material and it shows. Will help you if you need help...but you need to ask him. Tests are tricky!!

I took Dr. Romanek for as many classes as possible. He is a truly excellent instructor who will make difficult concepts easy to understand. If you are having problems he is helpful and will work with you. He is dedicated and makes sure the class understands everything. He is great at teaching and I highly recommend any and all of his classes.

I don't feel like he did well at teaching. He got too caught up in the "what if" questions from the duller bulbs in the class. Also his no make up on test policy is beyond stupid. Had to take my mother to the ER the day of the final AND mid term(I know it sounds unlikely but trust me it was true) Wouldn't let me retake them, which caused failure.

for my first semester at jcc i picked to take psychology. my professor turned out to be mr romanek. he class is an absolute adventure. he makes diffuclt things easy to understand and helps to remember it for your future exams. he makes the class laugh. it's very hard not to pay attention to what he has to say. romanek is an excellent teacher.

I took Abnormal Psych and Social Psych with Mr. Romanek. Great teacher, keeps things interesting, funny, class discussions are great. Follows text well, Reading is recommended, but for someone who memorizes material well, skimming the chapters and taking/studying notes will get you a decent grade. I would recommend him to all Psych students at JCC.
