Comment:

Dr. Rossi is the most influential person in my life outside of my family. He is what La Salle University is all a kid. A great man who isnt just smart. He is wise. I am so glad to have been his student and now can call him my friend a few decades later. Every incoming student should take him if possible.

Comment:

Dr Rossi fails to be caught up with 21st century technology, but he is an amazing professor. He makes jokes and loves baseball. Be ready to read 4-15 pages biweekly and be quizzed, 1-3 papers per semester and lectures that are filled with notes he's a great guy but its hard sometimes to really love him and the class

Good guy, but not very easy as a professor. Offers almost no grading criteria and doesn't tell you due dates until the week of. He often forgets his hearing aid and calls on a lot of students, so if you're called on, prepare to be loud. None of your grades or assignments will be posted on Canvas. Must read 20-30 pages and then take a quiz each week

Comment:

I almost dropped out after my sophomore year. The last thing I wanted was an 8:30 AM history class. However, that was the only class available since I registered the week before classes started. That professor was Dr. Rossi. That class -- and he -- changed my life. I wouldn't be who I am today without his wisdom and brilliance.

I was a really lazy student and underachiever for most of my life. Dr. Rossi was the first teacher to ever make me realize my academic potential. He is a wonderful human being. I owe so much to the man. I know I'm not the only La Salle alum who thinks this way. He's a credit to our school and an example for us to strive towards.

took him for America Through Baseball, easiest honors class I have ever taken. 2 book reviews and one research paper along with a quiz on a short reading almost every week. things talked about in class are completely irrelevant to papers, kinda just there FYI. very relaxing class not having to worry about taking notes

Dr. Rossi made history come alive for me. He was a brutal but fair grader. I had straight As in history but never had to to study as hard as I had to for his class, it was worth every second I spent both in class and hitting the books before and after class.

Dr. Rossi is the best thing about La Salle University. Period. I was a History major and took him six times. He's absolutely brilliant and knows seemingly everything. His baseball class is the best. I absolutely love him. He's a perfect example of what makes LaSalle so special. I would name my first son after him if my wife would let me.

Class was a ton of fun, would advise him for any history class, especially Modern Ireland - I dont think he liked me very much and I only got a B but I'd take him again, attendence wasn't insane and he never kept you that long, loved his class

I LOVE ROSSI!!! He was the most knowledgable person I have ever meet. Ask him any history fact and not only does he know it but he can elaborate on it. I loved his classes. I wish i could have taken he class for all of my history requirements!

He hates Canadians. He hates philosophers. He hates people with doctorates [heh, he has one]. He blames everything on MTV. This is why this man is amazing. My only problem with him was he kinda got sidetracked alot, but only when he sidetracked himself. We could never distract him!
