John was my creative thesis advisor, and was absolutely excellent. Inspired me to write more confidently than I ever imagined I could. As if that wasn't enough, John has been an indispensible advisor and friend since gradution. Best part of all? You get the sense he's happy to do it. An extraordinary teacher.

I had John for my Thesis. I wrote a vampire novel and even though he was not into the genre, he still critiqued it and was very helpful. Even now I still remeber his advice. Becuase of it I am now on my way to being published and have 3 books to be released xt year. Take his class if you can. Wonderful man

He is truly an inspiration, more than any other professor I've had at Emerson. I'm blessed to have had him for my CT (in fiction), which I was terrified of at first.His honesty is helpful without being abrasive (the way it is with some professors). Charming personality. Take him take him take him!
