John Stanley is an inspiration. He's definitely different, but in a good way. Just wait till you study Revelations O.o Haha. He is a wonderful professor and person, and his study guide for the test gives you everything you need to know to excel. Seriously, there's no reason you should do badly in this class unless you just don't try at all.

John Stanley is the man. Period. Even so, at times his class can seem unorganized and directionless. The work done outside of class is more insightful than some things done in class. His tests are hard and require you to work/study hard, but are definitely fair. Be prepared to do a lot of work, but also to laugh a lot. John Stanley gets it done!

stanley is an upbeat professor. sometimes its hard to follow his class outlines and he goes over material fast, but he is really random, which makes him funny. probably the best bible teacher at messiah.

I love Dr. Stanley, he is the light of my life. He shows much interest in relationships beyond the classroom and is very concerned about his students. His caring nature and quirky personality add spunk to his classes. He dances, sings and gives very thorough study sessions the night before tests...what else would anyone want in a prof?

I don't know why everyone dislikes Professor Stanley so much. I got more out of one Bible class with him than I ever got in my entire life. He loves to tell stories about his own life, which are always funny (but not always relevant). But still, he prepared us well for the exam, and was just an all-around great guy. Take him if you can!

A really really nice guy. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the best teaching style. I would steer clear of his class if possible. The material covered is very interesting, but he frequently avoids questions and challenges. Get to know him though, because he's a very unique, fun guy.

Stanly is a good guy, but his views are a little skewed. He is strong on women in ministry and teaches it as if it were the only view. His lectures are somewhat confusing, especially when he wears crazy costumes. The study guides are very unclear and studying is tedious. A lot of work is required.

i was somewhat psyched that i would be able to start my major in the first semester. however this class is just plain bad. there are tons of instances where he is asked a question by a student and he rambles on without answering the question only to ask about ten minutes later if it answered the question.

crazy lil guy, no idea whats going on in that class though.doesnt understand himself sometimes. one day in class he tried on ten hats. i have no idea why. unfortenetly a week later i encountered a test question that read "what was the purpose of me wearing multiple hats". needless to say i failed.
