Comment:
Material covered in class is unrelated to tests. Graphs are all that matters. Test questions worded extremely poorly. Does not care about students whatsoever. Very disrespectful to students in an attempt to be "funny" , but it's like, you're an old man, stop trying to be funny and start actually teaching the information that you're paid to teach.

Lectures were pretty entertaining and relatable to today's issues. Only graded on exams, so if you fail one of them you have to work hard to get good grades on the rest of them. Make sure to read book as he calls randomly on students to answer questions. Don't miss class. Be wary of his multiple choice questions on exams. Understand material.

One of the best lecturer I have ever had. Dr. Seeley made the topic relevant to todays news and class was never boring. Downside I s that his tests are extremely hard and you really have to manage your time when taking his exams. Aside from the exams, amazing class.

He is very straightforward professor with a very good sense of humor. His tests are very difficult and you absolutely have to study for the, otherwise you will have a difficult time passing them. He teaches with a precise vision and teaches you what needs to be taught. I would take him again, just got to study harder.

Dr. Seeley definitely makes you work for your grade. His test are only 3 questions but they are the hardest test I ever taken. The guy is hilariously and makes class interesting he'll roast every kid in the class. Make sure you take good notes or you'll have no chance In the class

I took Econ with Dr. Seeley in the summer 2014. It was the easiest I ever take. One lesson I remember tell now from that course, nothing. haha almost like I was never there.. but the moral of the story is that it is a fun course that might get into politics, justice, behavior, supremacy, few big numbers & words that mean nothing at all... etc.

DO NOT, I repeat, do not use a computer to take notes. Your success lies in drawing and memorizing graphs. This is something that is very difficult if you do not use a regular notebook. The tests are increasingly difficult. Make sure to read the supplemental book. Each test will have an essay from that book.

Go to class, as they are actually interesting. He is hilarious. Tests can be pretty hard. You have to study notes and skim through the book. For the Assigned chapters in the small book, read through and write/memorize at least 5 main points from each, as there will be one essay on there for it. He is approachable, and will help as best as he could.

This class is really tough and you deffinelty need to put the effort in, but it is not impossible. After you take first test, review it and know what hes looking for. Half the notes he give you do not really need to know in depth and si session extremely helpful. This class is not impossible though and is very intersting,

Walking into this class, I was worried that it would be difficult. Although it did take some studying, I thought this course pretty straight forward. The tests come straight from the notes, and the notes come straight from the textbook. The SI sessions were very helpful. Seeley makes the class interesting and teaches the material well.

I actually liked the class. Papers suck but the overall class was interesting. He likes to joke and go off-topic, which is great. Very easy to make fun of, he likes it ! I recommend taking the class.

He is hilarious and an excellent teacher. Yes he makes the class harder than it has to be, but you can tell this man really loves his job. Class is hard, but all that is needed is looking over the notes two or three times to know everything.

I had Seeley for Econ 101 and 102 and he is a great teacher. You need to put in major effort because the classes are hard but he is the best teacher I have ever had. I got a 4.0 in both classes, it is not as terrible as everyone makes it out to be.

I had him for both 102 and 320. 320 is way easier. I think ec102 is meant to weed out pharmacy majors? I don't know, but in 320 his exams makes sense and clearly relates to class discussions. He is more lenient and willing to help. Funny guy and brings up interesting topics, both relevant and irrelevant to class.

He's a funny guy and I looked forward to his jokes or teaching his topics on prostitution or herion. Other than that his class was torture. I had to work my butt off to pass with a 1.0. He gives great notes but a lot of material for the tests (and cumlative final)and the actual test is like reading another language.I would not recommend the class.

Easy to understand in lecture. Exams are like a foreign language. Not helpful when you ask him for help. He often gives you obvious answers when you ask him a question. "what are you looking for in this answer?" "I'm looking for the right answer" Thanks!
