Absolutely love, love, love this professor. I took him in a short summer class for States of Consciousness and honestly, I would have rather taken that class with him during a full semester where I could've learned and expanded more on the subject. Class was very interesting & I can't wait to take his other class in the fall. Fantastic professor.

I have had Dr. Suler for Theories of Psychotherapy, States of Consciousness, Group Dynamics and have conducted two independent studies with him. It is safe to say he is an amazing professor. He is an inspiration and has shaped me to the student that I am today. The papers and the readings were interesting. TAKE HIM! TAKE HIM!

I have taken Suler for Group Dynamics (Research Methods), Theories Of Psychotherapy, Psych&Film, and PSY490 (Independent Study)! I absolutely love him! Him & Carlin are by far my two FAVORITE PROFESSORS! Tests are hard, but just study- its college! You'll learn a lot and he uses many real life examples he experiences himsels! TAKE HIM!

His tests are ridiculously hard but gives a lot of 'bonus points'. No homework or projects and his tests are half from lecture and half from book. Class is very interesting and he is absolutely hilarious. It is a fun class but be prepared to studdddyyyy for his tests!

Suler is honestly hilarious. He makes the class really interesting and helps you learn a lot. Unfortunately his tests are realllly hard but he gives a LOT of extra credit and I think he really wants the student's to do well. I still have him right now so I'm not sure what I'm getting yet, but it's still a really cool class! Def. take him!

Suler is a very interesting and funny professor, he makes learning fun and uses examples to help you understand. No homework, or quizes only 3 exams; multiple choice and t/f. He doesnt tell you whats on them, he just says to read the chapters and study your notes and if you have a question he'll answer it but other than that you're on your own

I took every psych class i could with this professor.. he is sooo amazing if you dont take him you are crazy. everything you learn is so interesting so the tests are no problem.. they are a bit tough but as long as you kinda study you are goood. he gives you PLENTY of EASY extra credit and he doesn't care if u are at class or not..

loveeeddd this class!! i am taking him again next semester .. he is a great guy and i love going to his class.. he is not really strict about anything and missing class is no big deal.. looked forward to goin to his class..his tests are pretty hard but he gives sooooo much extra credit for doing nothing .. i would def take him for any class!

I've been one of the few lucky enough to have him every year. He's amazing, the best professor on this campus and certainly the best professor in the pysch department. No one compares, if you can get him then take him. His tests are hard, but the quizzes are a walk through the park. He's very nice, and funny and the classes are always a blast.

I had Suler for abnormal and for theories of psychotherapy. I absolutely love him!! The best psych teacher. Those two classes are the best two psych classes I ever took at Rider. His tests are a little hard, but there is a lot of extra credit opportunities and he makes class fun!
