I took his class online and it was super easy. He is not a tough grader at all and he gives good feedback on your essays to help you better your next essay. I did use a textbook, but it was only for the midterm and final review. You will use the same textbook for ENG1302. I am taking him again for ENG1302

This is by far THE WORST professor that Ive had. He reads straight from Blackboard every class, does not even teach or have a lot of information on Blackboard and expects you to know on the tests. He never grades until the last days. He would put wrong grades and then refuse to fix it if you bring it up to save his pride.

Rereads everything he post on blackboard basically no reason to be in class besides for attendance which he forgets about half the time super boring and exhausting better to be home talking it online waste of an hour and a half.

This class is pretty easy and clear, it is a little boring but overall super easy. Only thing I hated was he didn't post grades on blackboard until the last week of the 16 week semester.... still made an A+

Prof Thornburg is a very sweet and respectable man. His teaching methods are a little off- I wish he would lecture from his mind (rather than read from Blackboard), and I definitely wish he would keep up with grading his assignments. That being said, he is a very easy grader and his class is pain-free as long as you can manage to stay awake.

Really great teacher, his class was extremely easy! There's no way you can fail his class. All his assignments were easy, plus he posts exactly what he wants from your papers on Blackboard. One thing i didn't like is that he grades all his papers at the end of the semester.

He was okay. Didn't actually learn anything about the material and all he does is read links he posts on blackboard. The only grades you have in the class are three papers and four exams. He did give me an opportunity to turn in an essay I didn't yet even after grades were due for the semester I really appreciated that.

GREAT TEACHER! Grades fairly and is really caring. His class can be boring at times but it is by far the easiest English class I've ever taken. Don't listen to all the negative comments, If you want an easy English class to take I would suggest him. You just have to show up to class, actually try, and pay attention to understand what is going on.

Don't listen to most of the reviews I took this class for Fall 2016 and it was the easiest thing I have ever done. You can barely put any thought into the essays and you will get a 90 on all of them. I am a terrible writer and have no idea how I managed to make an A in the class. There are also quizzes that you need to read and understand the poems

He didn't take roll half the time but I'm pretty sure he will Fx you. He wasn't prepared. Half the time he was changing his blackboard documents from past semesters DURING class. We watched movies more than he taught us. On my last paper, he didn't have the requirements up till the night before it was due. Luckily I had paid attention in class. BAD

I took this class in the summer mini so there was a lot of homework and a 1,000 word essay due every Wednesday. In class he just reads from blackboard, but he does tell you what's going to be on the midterm and final. Both of the exams were easy. He makes a lot of mistakes during class and is always correcting things on blackboard.

He spends all of class sitting on a chair reading everything off of blackboard, he doesn't teach- just reads, something which the students can do at their own time at home. He spends a lot of time correcting his documents on blackboard and then re-uploading them. He's very scattered and jumps from topic to topic. Assignments are very unclear.

So he just sits at his computer going over blackboard easy class to take. 4 stories due for entire semester and 4 quizzes no final or mid term . his voice is very monotone but if your are looking for an easy class this is it just do homework which are usually prewriting's maybe a paragraph long usually a few sentences. grades at last minute
