I took human sexuality and intimacy from him this winter, it was the best class ever! He keeps everyone very interested and makes assignments and the reading useful, it's not busy work. He teaches material that is useful in life, not just school.

Don't underestimate what you can learn in his classes. He won't purposefully stress you out, but you have to choose to learn in his classes stay involved in discussions and absolutely do the readings because everything he picks is interesting. The things you learn in his classes are applicable to "real" life and you will never forget.

John is a GREAT teacher. The only problem I have with him is that he rarely gives you a grade on anything, so it is really hard to gage what kind of grade you have in his class. He really really cares about his students though, it's obvious.
