He is an excellent professor. I'm not sure why there are negative comments, but he was always willing to help before or after class, and often sat down with students to look over writing and would take time out to talk to us in Spanish. If you can take his class, DO IT.

GREAT PROFESSOR! He is extremely helpful, very funny, and can explain things to students individually until they understand it. He gets to know each one of his students very well, so he knows how each one learns. Fun class, challenging at times, but so rewarding.

He's the best prof I've ever had in any subject. Spends a lot of time giving students extra help, plus he's in charge of the Kaufman languages lab, so he's around all the time doing that when he's not teaching! Wonderful, funny, brilliant professor.
