Not the best but not the worst. His section (endocrinology) is not at all hard to understand, it just requires a lot of memorization. His lecture slides are way too busy and he basically just reads off of them so going to class isn't super necessary, though some slides he says don't learn the details. Questions are ok, just memorize the stuff.

Easy exam questions. Does not test little details. I bought the NTCs, read them and went to the exam finding his section a breeze. Endocrinology was overall interesting. Would recommend. I'm happy they offer it in PHGY 210.

Awesome prof, makes endocrinology a piece of cake! Everything you need to know is in his lecture slides, and his exam questions are by far the easiest in the course.

he is a bad prof, reads of his slides and doesn't explain anything. he is unorganized and lectures in a condescending manner, and everything he says is jumbled together with no real structure.

His slides contains everything you need to know, he basically reads off of them. Exam questions are representative of the basic concepts covered, doesn't press you for too many details

Great prof, made endocrinology, a topic that i found quite tedious and boring in the past, very interesting! Fair exam questions too!

I LOVE THIS MAN! He is another one of the great teachers in Physiology. Everything you need to know is in the class notes. Make sure to do old exams (find some!) because he reuses the SAME questions. I also found him to be very entertaining....gotta love that moustache.

He gives a lot of material, but doesn't press you for too many details on the exam. Clear and interesting. His notes are complete, so you don't need the text book - but study before the lectures are over, so that you can keep up in class (otherwise you'll sit there and go HUH?)

Very interesting class. Teaches you things more in depth then the basic first year genetics. Fun presentations and a paper on your choice of topic!

He's real proud of himself and his research and any attempt he makes at humor ends in an awkward fake chuckle from the class. That said, he knows his genetics and is clearly intelligent. This class was disappointing because it was totally cut and dry, but that is his style. Not bad but NOT great.

I would definitely recommend the History of Genetic Engineering Seminar if Prof. White teaches it. I really enjoyed the way this class was taught, and Prof. White was helpful, enthusiastic, and provoked THINKING, of all things. Really nice outside of class, too.
