Comment:

One of IU South Bend's finest professors. Wonderful teaching style and she genuinely cares about her students. She is passionate about writing and teaching students to become better writers. I took her creative writing class and it was a not the typical "same old dusty-crusty" format of so many college English courses. Enjoy your studies!

WORST professor ever...allowed her personal feelings to interfere with her professional judgment. Had to involve the Head of the English dept. to intervene in her despicable quest to kick me out of her class. Pathetic!

I took Phyllis in spring 07 and loved her! She has such an awesome personality. At first she seemed a little disorganized, but once class got moving along that dissipated. I learned a lot from her class. The assignments were not difficult and we had great discussions in class. Would absolutely love to take another class with her!
