Honestly? My least favorite professor I've ever had here at Rowan. He uses class time to "lecture" (aka- reminisce) and he wants you to learn the "why" instead of memorizing events and dates. I can't wait until this class is over-

Nice guy but I learned nothing from him. No one else I knew in the class had this problem, but I could never seem to give him what he wanted in papers. He made a big deal about fitting events into space and time and I somehow never manged to do that to his satisfaction. You learn nothing and the class isn't especially easy.

Hes a good guy, and an easy grader, in all honesty, you will learn nothing in the class, he spends too much time talking about everything else but history, but you will get a good grade in the class if you show up regularly and do the optional quizzes he gives. So his class is a good choice if you need a history Gen. Ed.

He is very nice guy! He love history, he talks alot, he give out a lot eassy also extra credict. His test make you think, if you hate writting, then don't take him. otherwise he is essay, if you do what he ask you what to do, how to prepare yourself for his examan, always his give you a review sheet and what to expect on the examan!

Wilson may be very one-sided, but he's a great professor. He gives lots of essays for optional credit and makes your life easy if you just do the work. All around, if you don't argue with him and just pay the littlest bit of attention...a B is easy

everybody who complains about this guy really shouldn't be in college in the first place. All he wants you to do is think for yourself and read the material. If you can't handle that, you're gonna fail. There's quite a bit of writing but it's not hard stuff. I blew the first essay or 2 and still got an A-.

Should rename the class The History of John Wilson. I can't stand his teaching...or lack thereof. You must read all 50 pages everynight, and there's a lot of essays. It's a teach yourself kind of course.
