Tough class but Dr. J is the best. Very willing to stay after class or meet in his office to explain things. Gives old exams to use in preparation for the exams. I really enjoyed this class.

since this class is only based on tests, you have to read a lot to make sure you do well, he does a lot of graphs on the board so try to understand whatever he draws on the board and also you have to sit in front to see what he's writing on the board

Jonakin is a great professor. I am a computer science major and had no interest in econ until I took his class. He explains material very well and if you pay attention in class and take notes you can get A or B on every exam.

Overall not a bad class and neither is he. Grading is based solely on 4 multiple choice tests that he curves to a class average of 75. Also there is an optional extra credit essay. Had a couple of problems with him when I would ask him questions, he was rather condescending and I made an A in the class so they weren't exactly dumb questions.

I failed all of the test but the 2nd one. make sure you attend every class and get old homework's and copy them. He does not change the homework's. If you attend class everyday he will pass you not matter what at the end.

The material is hard so you must go to class everyday, skip one and your really behind. Jonakin really knows his stuff and is more than whiling to help you. The final grade is based on homework and 3 test, he gives you past tests to study off of even gives you all the formulas on test day so all you need to do is learn how to use the formulas.

As far as stats goes, Jonakin is the guy to take. He explains the material pretty clearly and gives excellent notes. Tests can be a little bit difficult, but aren't impossible if you prepare well.

I thought it was easy, others prefer Difurio but he skips around. Jonakin works from start to finish, lets you out early alot. there are 6 homeworks, only 5 are graded (no he doesn't drop one just the 6th isn't grade), there are 4 tests. I dont know if he curves, I made an "easy" A. He puts old tests int he library I just worked them over n over

I had him for Ag Policy and that class was not a walk in the park. The tests were hard and all essay. You have to read the text to follow along in class. There was only 5 ppl in the class when I took it so it made it harder.

I liked Mr. Jonakin he is a good teacher and knows what he is talking about. He is very boring though, but all of his test were multiple choice.

His Business Statistics class seems very intimidating at first, but it's not bad at all. He puts old tests on file before his exams which are extremely helpful come test time. MAKE COPIES OF THOSE AND DO THEM OVER AND OVER. I promise that if you go to class, take notes, and do the old tests that you will make an A. I did.

It isn't Jonakin as much as it is the course material. He tries to make it interesting, but it's hard, no matter if you've had 8 hours of rest or not. Study hard for the tests. Listen more to him in class rather than writing all the graphs down. You won't have enough time, plus you'll be more focused on writing it rather than understanding it.

His a really nice guy who tries his best to help you, but he is very boring. His test is really hard and you have no idea where the questions come from. He gives a nice curve. If you take him just beware.

Jonakin is a good professor but he is extremely liberal. Just tell him what he wants to hear and you'll be fine. This class isn't nearly as easy as I thought it would be, though. Now there is a huge group project you have to do and its extremely time consuming. I wouldn't take this class as an elective. Decent class...harder than expected.

Jonakin tries hard, but most of the students just didn't want to learn. I think he makes this course as interesting as it could possibly be, and the tests reflect the material he gives you in class. If you come to class, take notes, read the chapters and do the study guides, and HONESTLY try hard to do good, you will do fine. He gave HUGE curves
