HATES questions. Very boring and dry speaker. Lecture has little to nothing to do with what the material is. Homework isn't graded. Exams are impossible. If you do take this class with him, do the EXCEL project it will help a ton. DONT CHEAT on it. He will find out and you will fail and worse if he finds out. Bottom line, take it with someone else.

I have never felt so disrespected by a professor in my college career as I felt I was by Neal Turner. Consistently curves tests 20-30%, never deviates from his power point. Treats college students like they are children. Expect to get a B in class and having to work really hard to get it.

One of the worst experiences I have had at Western. I am a 4.0 student and the highest actual grade I received was around 75. He curves between 20-30% so the grades look good. He was nice in office hours but very rude in class. I didn't learn nearly as much as I wanted to. I learned the same material much more easily in ECON 3200.

If you are loud, like to text, or do anything else beside sit there in class and listen do not take this class. If you pay attention and be quiet, this class is quite easy. Don't get on his bad side he will call you out in front of everyone. Was an easy A for me but I am an ACTY major.. marketing might have trouble... LOL.

Turner is a disaster. The Finance department needs some fresh blood, this guy appears to have died several years ago. He does well to keep dry material, finance, very boring. His monotone voice will lull you into a nice nap after about 20 minutes. Prepare to teach yourself corporate finance if you'd like to succeed in his class.

He cannot teach at all and is very boring. However you have to go to class to get notes and participation. His PPT slides on how to do the math really aren't that bad and make up for his lousy teaching. He would never respond to my emails and when I confronted him about it about fixing my grade, he yelled at me. He's mean.

He's easily annoyed and will stop class waiting for students. He doesn't teach the math part well (mostly comprehensive) so you end up teaching yourself. Hw is required but not graded and there's no student participation in class. He will sway your grade according to your hw, attendance, and if you annoy him. 2 tests, 2 quizzes, 1 excel project.

He does enjoy the smell of his own anus. Definitely get the old tests + hw from previous semesters. When he closes eyes during his lecture, students are required to jump up and down and leave the classroom as much as possible. Do not take this profffff

Try and get some previous tests because his tests are retarded. He dosent teach at all. He loves the smell of his own farts and closes his eyes while talking. Otherwise go to class, try n do the hw, and dont study for the tests cuz he will curve, i got a B an dont know how to do math.

Class is useless, I learned absolutely nothing, got a CB. I would have failed if I didn't know a finance major who helped me. Homework/Class Work is 100%, totally unrelated to test questions. No point in even studying for the tests because nothing you study will even be relevant. Goodluck.

He is so sweet, but you HAVE to be nice/polite to him or he will completely different. He doesn't even look at the homework, but still do it and show up because he adds a 12% to your grade for homework and attendance!

Wonderful professor! Very clear in what he expects. Doesn't like students using laptops in class or leaving in the middle to buy food. Who could blame him! Very interesting stories. Very helpful if you show that you're also making an effort and not just wanting him to tell you the answer. Very thorough! Take him if you can!

Finance majors, take him. He can get a little boring in class but its Finance... As far as the material goes, if you stay awake in class, you'll learn a lot. Go to every class. He can get short in class but sit down and talk with him in his office, fun and interesting guy.

Lectures are extremely boring. Almost fell asleep 3 or 4 times and I never fall asleep during college lectures. Exams are ridiculously difficult. Homework is easy, but exam questions dont really reflect them. I've heard other profs are easier for FIN 3200, but its up to you. Work HARD and you might get a C.
