one person below thinks he's a marxist, another says he's a pro-market neoliberal?? ridiculous. put in the work & you'll do fine, whatever your politics.

Comment:
I felt like I could not express my opinions either in papers or in class because he is so biased towards Neoliberalism. Anything else would result in being shut down and marked down on grades. However, he is very easy to understand and makes political economy very easy to understand.

Comment:
I think crystal is extremely overrated. He seems like a nice guy, but if you make points about politics he doesn't agree with, he will harm your participation grade. Very liberal and doesn't hide it. Weak feedback on essays and takes forever to grade them. Class is impossible to stay awake in unless your to the left of Karl Marx politically

Sticks very closely to his own outline. Sometimes follows this at the expense of more interesting, student led discussion. Overall, not bad. Good reading list.

You would be retarted NOT to take a class with him before you graduate! I mean, break me off a piece of that! He's beyond intellectually stimulating and extremely eager to help. Helps boost your grade if you're into punk rock :)

Great course taught by a great professor, although I sometimes felt like he was witholding some of his expertise from the students; utilize his many office hours for more in-depth analysis if that's what you're looking for (don't even bother buying the textbooks). Also, be aware that the final is worth 40%; he's not so easy. Take him if you can.

Objectivity was probably the best part of the course, and the fact that aftter it you gain a better understanding of int'l regimes. No need to do the reading as well, which is a bonus!

One of the best professors at Fordham. He's enthusiastic and engaged, and really wants to help students. His classes are funny and you're still learning a ton. Can be a tough grader, but put the work into the class and it'll be a great experience.

He's very thorough, has debates in class so that it's not all lecture, and always engages the class. He's interesting, and very, VERY intelligent. He's easy to talk to, and his review questions are exactly what you'll see on the test. Love him.

He's not an easy grader, but he is definetly fair. Doesn't care too much about attendance, and provides ample oppurtunities to recover your grade if you start to slip. Unlike many of his collegues,in the Poli Sci Dept, he is refreshingly laid back.
