I was a bit scared going into this class because I hadn't take math, yet calculus in a long time. But the Professor really cares about you and how you progress throughout the semester. Can be seen as a grumpy old man at first sight, but the more you get to know him, you see how caring and passionate he is towards his students.

Excellent professor, took him for all my Calculus courses. The best part about him is that he does go over the "silly algebra" that most professors refuse to, and does so without students having to ask him. Highly recommend!!!! Although I will say that he speaks very softly, he moonlights at QC at night, could be rough for some who are tired.

I have to be fair when i talk about him. He is a good Math professor. He knows what he is doing. He cares alot about his students. His only problems are: his spoken english is very bad, and he takes too much time concentrating on hw problems that he only finish explaining 1 or 2 section in the last 20-30 mins of the class.

hes really easy and explains things slowly. the problem is he teaches an entire secion or 2 in the last 20 minutes of class and noone can figure out how to do the hard hw problems or even gets up to it.then in class ppl ask qs on the easy problems so we never end up learning the hard ones and he doesnt get this. but its ok.

This guy is an absolute must for Calc. He knows the material and can explain it, is very patient, and ultra fair on tests. The exams were no harder than the homework, so if you just do those, you should have no problem in the class. Only slight thing is that it is hard to understand him in the begining of the term, but you get used to it.
