Took the online course for a nursing pre req. You take 17 quizzes that are 5 points a piece. That is your grade. Total course points possible is 85. You cant miss many questions and come out with an A in the course. Once you lose those points there is no way to bring your grade up. You just have to watch your points and his grading scale. no bonus

Easy class, but the videos (his recorded videos and the dvd videos) are dull and uninteresting. The videos he produces are riddled with technical errors, and the dvd videos are more focused on theatrics than presenting art. However, the easiest 3 hour course ever!

While this class was simplistic and I would recommend it to anyone, the times he posts the quizzes are inconvenient. If you happen to forget one quiz, your letter grade changes. No built in bonus and not an engaging teacher, at all. His lectures are drab at best and he is clueless on how to operate technology.

Took the Art Appreciation class online and I loved it! The grade is based on quizzes that consist of the lectures he posts and the DVD required for the class. I've enjoyed every lesson, it's pretty basic stuff like art history and biographies of artists. Unlike others, I encourage you to take it online if you can :) It's simple and entertaining.

Took his online art appreciation class and hated it. The video lessons were long long long and boring. He does a few 5 point quizzes and that is all your grade is based on. Don't know how he is as a teacher, but strongly discourage taking the online art app. class!
