Comment:
i did not get an A. i wished i would asked prof. lovell to go over examples and specifically, explicitly highlight good/not good parts of lesson/unit plans (perhaps ask if he might do this during the time you meet with your unit plan group). i tried to use the rubric but did not end up with A-level lesson or unit plans.

Professor Lovell is amazing. He is very kind and helpful. Even now I moved away and don't live in Cali anymore and he still stays in contact and is available to help whever needed. He's really sincere and a pleasant person to be around. Also, he really believes in education and his students.

Great professor. Very helpful, good sense of humor, lots of practical information and preparation for actually teaching English in secondary school. Clearly loves what he's doing and is very generous with his time. He helped to create a real camaraderie in the class and I looked forward to attending.

I would take a class from him just to establish the relationship. He is a great advisor, great 1-on-1, not such a great teacher.

He had rather low standards and didn't push people into doing anything other than the minimum necessary for them to skim the subject matter. He is a very nice man, but I was somewhat disappointed by him as a professor.
