Comment:
Taylor was very easy. But shouldn't be a required class to take because nothing about it has to do with the major that half of the class is going into. However, it's very very easy to get an A in LIT 286

Beware, this guy goes off on tangents. Class could be over in 10 minutes, he spews random facts for the other 40. You will come really close to falling asleep. Good thing: Uses classcraft to allow you to buffer grades. Would I take again? No. Should this course be required? No.

He has started this new online game that is like a mixture of World of Warcraft and some other video games. I thought it was really fun and a unique way to get people involved, but if you're not into video games this may not be the class for you.

You have a short story to read before every Monday and Wednesday class that you write a journal on. He assigns 3 papers (required by the university) that are a couple pages long each. He requires a face-to-face meeting for each rough draft and final draft of the paper to go over improvements and grading. He also plays Classcraft (look it up).

Taylor is a really good prof as long as you read the stories and do the journals and papers. there is one team project which is a paper and presentation. kind of a pointless class but easy if it is a must have for your major.

Not only did it take 5 weeks for him to respond to my emails, he also was so behind on grading I had to submit my final drafts before I was given any feedback on my rough drafts whatsoever. Yes, I saw drafts, plural, because this happened on more than one occasion. Posted material late. Class ends Friday & I am still waiting for grades & responses.

Very nice instructor.I thought that the discussions were interesting as well as the short story reading. This is writing intensive as required by university standards.Had two 1500 word papers and a 2000 word group paper with presentation. 1 on 1 conferences are helpful so you know exactly where you stand. Grades were always given in a timely manner.

I loved this class. Sometimes he gets talking about random stuff so you tend to zone out but overall he was a great professor! I wish I could take him for Lit next year. Highly recommended. He does require a lot of reading, but they are short stories so it is easy.

EASY EASY CLASS if you show up for team projects (one day out of the 2 days you have class a week) the other day of the week you just talk about your journals on short stories... Class is very boring, makes you want to just sleep.. You do 3 1000 word essays that aren't hard. He grades very easy. You also do a big team project at the end of the year

Great professor. The class was at eight in the morning, which was the only bad part because I was half awake at that time, however, the readings that were required were all interesting. He changed the journal entries that we do twice a week from a half-page to a page in length which gets old after awhile. Grades papers pretty easily. Overall A+.

This was a required class. Don't get me wrong I love reading more than life itself but this class made me want to fall asleep w/o fail every time. Not only that the only req. for our papers was that they relate to justice and frankly that's almost vague to the point of apathy in my book. I could have done all of this from my laptop in a week.

Took this on-line and he was late with posting assignments and returning work. Didn't answer questions until it was too late, absentee instructor. I filed a grievance with the university and e-mail President Eisler. This guy shouldn't be teaching. Learned nothing! Avoid his classes!!
