Comment:

Professor Jonel is very unique. She is highly experienced, quirky, and fashionable. Do not be late to her class. A lot of fun acting games, silly warmups, and small class settings. No jeans allowed. She will know if you aren't participating to full capacity, however. Once you let your guard down, it can be fun. Homework is fairly easy. Do warmups!

The class content is boring because it's so much to cover but the professor is awesome and she really tries to make it more interesting whether its hands on or by showing us videos. She funny too and loves diversity which is a plus because shes open to learn new things.

Jonel is awesome. she likes to engage her students in everything and it counts as extra credit. she is very clear about what is on her quizzes and as long as you read the chapters before class you should do well. theater hours are not that bad but you do feel like you are slave to their department. Be aware of Baumgartner!he will bore you to death!

Jonel is a fine teacher and makes class some what interesting...but I do not reccomend taking the class if she is teaching with Timothy Baumgartner. He thinks people should bow down to him for no reason and he shuts down EVERYTHING people say in the class. He never has ANYTHING nice to say and he's so boring. Do not take clases with this man!!

I love Jonel!!! She is so hilarious and actually makes the material interesting. She cracks jokes, moves around, and getting into "play" arguments with the students. Only negative about this class is the theatre tech hours. She says they are there for a grade to "get a feel for the theatre", but its really free labor for the department

If you like the idea of rolling around on the floor and pretending to be a leaf this class is for you. It is entirely what you make of it. If you are comfortable with moving around and making an ass of yourself you'll probably enjoy the class much more than someone who is shy and reserved.

I LOOOOOVE JONEL SO MUCH! She is the cutest thing ever! She is very helpful if you need help and seek her outside of class she is more than willing to help and give advice. She is HILARIOUS and her classes was always interesting. I looove her I recommend taking her classes. PLus she is CUTE! haha

very energetic and passionate about what she does. Her class is a huge stress relief in a regular day. You can go there, let loose and know that you are not being judged. I think she is an interesting person.I recommend her as a professor.
