Very hard to understand moves at a very fast rate. Completely disregards students comprehension to the subject or what he does during class.

Professor Novillo Is difficult to understand, both in speech and handwriting. He assigns optional homework and VERY few grades, making it impossible to repair any grade damage. Most of the time I couldn't even figure it out on my own because I didn't know what the current topic was even called.

He's a great professor, if you like looking up lectures on Kahn Academy and teaching yourself Finite Math. People answer questions identically, because they're all cheating on google docs, and somehow get DIFFERENT grades... i got a B from watching finite math tutorials on YouTube.

After completing this course, I still can't answer many of the questions inside of the book, which was a free Online PDF set. In theory it sounds nice, but when you look at a legitimate Discrete math textbook, you can see as to why the PDF was free. Poor handwriting so it's hard to take notes, is not concise, and makes a ton of mistakes in class

Avoid this professor if at all possible, doesn't explain Anything he teaches then expects you to know everything. Honestly, he's the only teacher/professor I've ever met that can make an open-book test confusing, and have the average grade on it failing.

Awful professor. Doesn't explain anything and just copies from a textbook that is poor at explaining. He only grades two things, the midterm and final which are 50% of your grade each. Avoid if possible.

This professor will give you criteria during the course to make you feel as if you are on track, and then tests you on concepts you have never even dealt with before. Avoid him as much as you can.

Best teacher and best professor in Computer Science MS program at SUNYIT [period]. He has chosen to be the primary supervisor for more than 150 student projects and theses: facts speak louder than any other uninformed opinions on this board. Note: these are votes of confidence by students who selected him to supervise their projects or theses.

What do I need to say, just look at the enrollment numbers each term; each of his MS 5xx courses often enroll more students than all the students put together in courses by some other professors teaching 5xx. Rigorous, yet very pragmatic about professional success of students and computer science industry needs of today.

He's hard to understand. The Hw is optional, but some of the questions are copied exactly and put on the midterm and final. The tests are take home. He probably got a laugh that last day I had him when he made the class squirm before telling everyone there would be no in class final quiz >.< He's lenient to give extra time if you forgot the final.

I enjoyed his class. You have two options for CS-249, and if you chose him as the teacher, you will get a class about OOP. You program in this class, not talk about programming. I enjoyed this class and learned a lot! Made my final project look like "the hood of a Buick"! LOL!!! Jorge is awesome!!! Do your work and you will do fine!!!

He moves slowly at first then speeds up. He reads the textbook slides, but gets bored then goes to the board to write out an entire program. Then that program is assignment 1. If you go to lecture, pay attention, do the assignments, its a fairly easy class. Open notes tests, print out the old one and just give him what he asks for on it.

Extremely vague and confusing in lecture and assignments. On the up-side, once you figure out what he's asking for, the assignments are extremely easy. Don't expect to learn anything from him.

THIS IS THE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. He doesnt speak english, he speaks some form of pseudo-english. I have no doubts that he knows his stuff, but when the first homework reads "Point class variables in the vectors" and nothing else, he doesnt know how to teach. Not to mention when you ask a question he doesnt answer it coherently.
