he is a great professor but you should take notes of everything. It is somewhat hard to understand what he is saying . his class strategies help you prepare for his tests. the key to passing his class is being on time and taking notes.

Decent professor. One thing I hated about his class was that he does not give review sheets for the exams, but he does give a review the class before the exam, so you kinda have a idea of what to expect. The homework is on Wiley plus and the textbook is used in every class. Get ready to peer up with a partner because there would be a lot of that.

Comment:

One of the best spanish professors. He is a down to earth professor that is able to view attempts as effort. If you sit in the front of the class and try you will be rewarded. The best that can be done will be done in this class. As an individual who isn't good at another language, I learned a lot and I tried hard by always showing an effort.

DON'T TAKE HIM. When I signed up for his class I it didn't state anywhere that he would barely teach in class and that everything that is supposed to be taught in class is actually online. Also he should get reported for making a big deal out of going to the restroom. No study sheets for tests at all. Good luck on passing if you take him.

Im Spanish, i thought his class wasn't going to be a problem. However, his accent is strong, he doesnt write on the board. Expects you to read 50-100 pages per day!. His tests are hard. You can read what he assigns and still be confused on what he really wants.

He is a great teacher and he was thoroughly involved with ALL students in the class. He does have a strong accent but he is also very detailed with his lesson plans & is very leniant when giving your final grade as long as you show you are genuinely trying. He teaches Spanish 1 and 2. I took him both classes and loved it.

Nice guy if you're interested in sharing a pitcher of sangria and chit chatting. If you have no prior knowledge of spanish you're on your own. He rushes through the material; not really a beginners course. In order to do well and keep up you need to have a basic understanding of the language. His teaching style isn't for non spanish speakers.
