Dr. Porter is one of the best teachers out there. Extremley knowledgeable about the subject but is dedicated to teaching, which not all professors do. He cares that you learn the material if you are willing to put in the effort. Overall, best teacher I have every had.

Awesome teacher, very clear and organized. Don't miss the class without letting him know before the class or after the class because he will know even though there are 100 students. Very helpful and very intrested in student's learning.

Very organized. Is very clear on his expectations on homework. Overall, he really knows what he is doing and is takes the class at a very good pace (i.e. he doesn't just jump into things). Your grade is also calculated fairly in the class, there are so many opportunities to raise your grade. Be a student and you will get an A in his class.

Lots of material covered. You can bring all your notes from class for the tests, but you wont have time to flip through them to find info. Tests are hard to complete in time. Overall Porter is a pretty good instructor! I would recommend him.

his exams can really crush engineers who arn't programmed to remember all the theoretical stuff. Be sure to do the reading, go over the slides, and go over everything another time! No notes allowed in this class, so be prepared to cram.

GREAT teacher! he knows what he's doing and has great project, he makes things easy and his exams are very simple. He's straight to the point and he works hard. OVERALL THE BEST .
