Professor Chapman was great. Read the chapters, do the work and you will pass. He was always available for anything and answered emails promptly. I would recommend taking him for humanities.

I am about to finish this class as an accelerated Summer B course, and im advising other not to take this course if you care about your GPA. Initially I saw a lot of positive comments and failed to realize that most of them had thumbs down. Cares more for the grammar than the content, he has no problem failing you.

Recently attempted to take this class online. I ended up withdrawing from the course after the deadline. I put my G.I Bill at risk of getting suspended due to his tough grading and teaching style. I do not recommend this class online.

Although he might sound boring at first, the ideas he talks about in class are really interesting and they truly got me thinking about the world. There aren't many assignments but they are all writing related, though if you put effort into them your good. He does have 3 tests and they are pretty hard but they are all open book and take home tests.

This online class was one of the best decisions I ever made. In truth, I usually take online classes for the "ease," but this one really captivated and made you think. Assignments are meant to get YOUR opinions and thoughts, and really allow you to have your own voice (even on tests). Chapman was really involved and I would love to take him in pers

The professor is nice and respectful but his class is very BORING! The subject isn't boring he is. The way he lectures makes you fall asleep. Besides that, his class is super easy. There are 4 exams and 1 paper and the final is a 5 minute, EASY presentation! His lectures don't cover the info in the book so you need to read and understand it.

hosted an open environment, it was somewhere that you weren't afraid to say what you feel. Brought in guest speakers from many faiths. Honestly opened my mind, I learned a lot in that class. I am really happy I took it, you had 3 main tests 2 were take home. discussion posts were essential to do. Also some online tests but allowed multiple attempts

A fine man, but awful instructor. Beware of the Tests (they don't always appear), send him an email a week in advance because he won't answer until then (busy?), you get one kind act from him if lucky, and needs to work on his Blackboard (so many issues). Okay class most of the time, but when there is an issue, it's big because he won't help.

I took his Intro. to Peace studies class its an easy class. All you really do is listen and sometimes you have to do discussion post, readings, and he has speakers come in throughout the semester and you have to write a page reflection on at least 5 of them. Its an easy A if you show up to class and do your work. He's an lenient grader too.

If you are looking to take online classes because you have a life this is the right professor. This is the best online class I have ever taken. He gives you the whole semester to take Chap Quizes and he's super organized. You don't get bombarded with 50000 emails every week like some other professors.I highly recommend this class!!

I took him for HUM 20th century online. Its a lot of work, but if you put in the time you will get the grade you deserve. I didnt put in the time and so my grade suffered. He MEANS WHAT HE SAYS when he says he will give you a zero for plagiarizing.. so make sure you take the time to reword everything correctly. I would suggest to take him though!

This is a pretty easy ONLINE class. I took the honors course online and it was extremely easy. If you're an ok writer then you'll be fine. You don't HAVE to read the chapter each week, as I only really used it for like the first couple of assignments. The tests dive a little deep, but there's a lot of reflection and opinion papers. Highly suggest!

I took Professor Chapman online fast track. WORST THING IVE EVER DONE! The work load isn't big but you MUST READ! Make sure when doing the KEA's you don't list a sentence from the book or you will get a ZERO! This is by far the hardest class I've taken and would not recommend.

I enjoyed his class 100%. He knows his subject very well, and he is very nice with the students. Always open to questions, and he makes sure that you understand the assignments. He is a great story teller so that make his class very engaging. Great teacher!!

This class has many easy assignments check week, but DO NOT TAKE IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO WRITE. There's A LOT OF WRITING INVOLVED IN EVERY ASSIGNMENT. He gives a couple extra credit assignments that are also WRITING. There are test for each chapter that all the answers are online for. He is a tough grader but is also helpful. Don't need textbook much!
