DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. There are a mixed bag of reviews here, trust me, do not take him. Has no clear direction in his teaching, incompetent and incomprehensible. Does not engage the class at all. Work is somewhat easy and straight forward. That being said, the torture that is his teaching is not worth semi-easy grade you can receive. AVOID.

TAKE MY ADVICE, I AM A SMART, MOTIVATED FEMALE STUDENT AND THIS GUY WAS JUST INCOMPREHENSIBLE..he was all over the place and i think he just likes to hear himself talk, the poor guy needs help because the whole class was zoned out because no one knew what was going on..overly critical and SARCASTIC, totally unnecessary :(

teacher knows his stuff, puts effort in his classes but he talks too much so it doesnt really allow you to be intrigued; he wants you to understand everything, so he chops it up for you instead of having the class do it together. Personable; open-ended questioner. Big on critical thinking, developmental education. Trendy guy. Offers tons of extra-credit. Enjoys informed debate and groupwork, so be prepared to justify your reasons and talk. Learned alot!!

I had to drop this class in the middle of the semester because it was so horrible. He NEVER explained the assignments clearly, and even when several people asked him to clarify, he just repeated himself. He also repeated himself every single class. We never did anything new!!! Don't take him even if your life depends on it.

Discussions of Moral Issues really got real and lively the second half. Good pacing. Not too much reading, five short page papers and a term paper. Oh yeah, there's an Oral Presentation required-- Rhymes or other creative work is well-received. Always reqires connections to textbook so read it, even though its tough going sometimes.
