Dr. Biernacki is a professor everyone in the department will have to take eventually. He's crazy, but he cares about his students. He's incredibly busy with research, but still available to ask for help on his multiple projects. By the time you reach the end of one of his courses, you'll be exhausted, but you'll truly understand the material.

Dr. Biernacki is a really good professor who cares about his students, but he has way too much on his plate. He's a bit scatterbrained, but pay attention in class and ask questions and all will be well. Visit him during office hours and he'll be more than happy to help you out. He can also be quite forgiving with deadlines if you show you're trying

PROS: He knows his stuff/subject. He's happy to answer questions. His lectures usually correlate to homework. CONS: He's unprepared or disorganized sometimes. He doesn't grade your homework, so u gotta ask the TAs what they want to see. ATTEND THE CLASS ALWAYS! TAKE NOTES AND DO HOMEWORK in order to do well with study guide and final exam

Extremely difficult to learn from. If there were ANY other professor teaching a class he was, I would recommend them over him. Unfortunately, he is the only option. I honestly feel like I learned nothing but how to be frustrated in this class. He manages to use this 1 hour class to do nothing but confuse you.

Dr. B is one of my favorite teachers at Tech. The homework for 2011 is hard, but don't sweat it. The tests are easier. He teaches you what he wants you to know. The book problems usually don't relate to lecture. He's very approachable for questions, so don't hesitate to ask. Always go to class and pay attention, and you'll excel in this course!

1-word: harebrained. At best he will try to help you but end up confusing you more. Seek help from upperclassmen. Always unprepared but can point out minuscule flaws in your work. Be prepared to be disappointed. Grading is kind of arbitrary. Don't expect him to be much help with a real problem.

Dr. Biernacki is energetic, enthusiastic, and he has a good sense of humor as well. Though he can be a bit spacey, he is passionate about his subject and about teaching. His tests are tough, but there is always help available, and he gives a nice curve at the end. Great teacher, and very approachable.
