I've never been in a business class. It was completely foreign to me. However, I got an A because I pushed through all of the projects/tests/reports. Go to class because she gives points at random and participation is like 150pts of your grade. It is very time consuming!!!! However, Dr. Barger is an amazing professor and she will help you.

I would not recommend her as a teacher to anyone. You have 2 projects going on at the same time. One group one day, the other the next. She quits teaching halfway through the semester and just lets you work in your groups. But she still gives test over stuff that she has never talked about. STAY AWAY!

She does not teach at all. You will have a group project in which you will teach a chapter to the class. She doesn't do any grades herself, has T.A.s do them. If you do end up making a high grade on any of her test she will accuse you of cheating. I would pay the extra to take it online before taking it with her! Why is she "teaching" still!?

If you are serious about business, take Dr. Barger. The way she teaches is the same way you would be given instructions and deadlines in the real world. That's what makes this class brilliant. If you need your hand-held every step of the way through a class or project, don't take her. But, if you want to become a better professional, do.

Absolutely horrible. Her instructions are nothing but worthless jargon. Like someone else here said, yes, she expects that papers be written at a level way above that of an undergraduate. She makes no sense, and dodges straightforward questions and/or absolutely refuses to answer them. DO NOT TAKE HER FOR ANYTHING, EVER.

Difficult at first but once you get into the class she's pretty reasonable. I really liked the fact that she is negotiable on exam and paper due dates. She is a fair grader. Also her grading style makes it so that you do not have to ace her exams to pass the class. Do well on your projects and go to class and you'll be fine.

She grades at a rediculous level. She thinks you work should be a scholarly paper. Also, she is of no help. She has set the class up so that she has to do zero work. She says things like "becasue of my role I can not answer that"...your ROLE you the professor you ROLE is to answer questions.

As an advisor-she completely sucks!I could have graduated a semester early if she hadn't fiddled with my schedule.She won't return phone calls-only emails or in person.I feel sorry for any business major who has her because she is out of her mind.I filled out a form in front of her and the next day she couldn't even remember me being in her office.

Excellent teacher and innovative teaching style. The projects requires a lot of outside work but are weighted accordingly. Just show up for class and it is weighted like one and a half tests. How hard is that?

she's great at first, then SUCKS at the end. Go to class and keep record of your 'attendance' points. they will count majorly against you in the end if you don't. tries to make 'attendance' points in same grading category as 'extra credit' and it screwed almost everyone in my class. if you can take someone else, do!!!!

Youll love her for the first couple of months...Then you will hate her towards the end cause she will pull some highly shady crap on you...Make sure you go to every class and keep records of that...And make sure you win your market simulation otherwise you are screwed...You can make 5 out of 8 grades as As and still wind up with a B....I did

Very nice and helpful. Gives alot of extra credit if you do it. If you show you are trying she's willing to help you. Big grade for attending class. Tests are hard, but don't count a whole lot towards your final grade.

The tests were only 40% of the final tally. I've never heard of such a thing. Lot of outside class work. I learned alot, which is what i wanted, but my other classes suffered alittle.
