Makes economics actually bearable by using examples from his life to go along with his lectures. Also he gives no homework and quizzes just three tests which if you study for should all be easy a's

I really enjoyed his class. Everything is taught straight from the book in lecture format. No homework, no quizzes, no papers, etc. Just three exams and an optional final. He also spends a day reviewing just about everything that will be on the exams. The lectures are a little dry, but I'd love to take another one of his classes.

He is very nice and wants you to succeed! The class can be a little confusing and boring, but it goes straight from the textbook. Requires a decent amount of studying, but not overwhelming. He has 4 tests and drops the lowest grade. I would recommend!

Professor Chalmers is a teacher. He actually really cares about his students, and doesn't move forward until everyone gets it. He uses everyday examples to explain concepts in the book, which you must read to pass the tests. Economics is all theory, and it's up to you to put in the effort. The tests are multiple choice with opt out final.

Professor Chalmers knows his stuff, but just isn't the best teacher. His test are pretty straight forward. If you read the book, you'll have no problem.

teaches straight from the textbook and powerpoints, but further explains the concepts with relatable scenarios. the class is kind of dry, but it is econ. as long as you read the book, you will be fine.

Professor Chalmers is a fun guy to talk in and out of class. The problem is, he is an extremely smary guy, he expects you to be extremely smart as well. I recommend tape recording his class on a smartphone. Also try to get involved during class. You will be much more interested and he will tell you some crazy things that effect the entire world.

Professor Chalmers class is fairly easy if you try. He doesn't teach, simply rambles about irrelevant stories. He is a really nice guy, just not the best teacher. The only reason I did well in the class was because I took it in high school. Study the book and you'll be fine cause the tests are easy.

He is a very nice teacher, if you need help just ask after class and he will. The entire class is based off the book. So if you dont like reading, get out of there lol. Only 3 tests plus the final which he drops your lowest grade. The tests are hard though..Im not very good at this subject and i think they are hard, others may think otherwise.

Quite possibly the most boring professor at Rowan, asks questions without allowing you time to answer, and assumes everyone knows what he is talking about.

Chalmers is the man. His class is somewhat boring but for the most part, so is economics. You'll learn what you need to know and won't be hit with mass amounts of information. Good teacher, just go to class and take some notes and he will review for every test.

Chalmers is a decent professor. He teaches everything straight out of the book. He is always very clear about what will be on the test . Tends to read straight from the book during class which can be boring. If you outline the chapters to study for each tests, you will most likely do okay

Chalmers is amazing. Class not so much. He knows his economics, but hes pretty fast paced and gets caught up in his thoughts a lot because hes always rambling about how our government is financially crazy. Anyway, he will slow down But YOU HAVE TO ASK. Seems intimidating, but is a very nice guy. Tests are all MC but can be hard.

good professor. teaches everything straight out of the book. very clear about what will be on the test beforehand. however, u still need to study for the tests or you won't do well. if you make an outline to study for each chapter before the tests, u will most likely do well

He is good but only for those who loves tests but nothing else (probably lazy people). Because that is what you are going to have in his class. As one rater says, he is good for those who are book worms & not for those who won't just like to have the tests. If you want to increase your GPA, don't take him because he will not gonna be good for that.

Great attitude and has an obvious love for Economics. His lectures aren't the most exciting and will likely put you to sleep at times. ZERO Hw and class participation. Only assignments all semester are 3 Exams and an optional Final. Not recommended if you do most of your work in class, recommended for those who are book worms.
