Comment:
Very boring, and very unclear. Gives out the test questions maybe a week in advance and you are only graded on 3 assignments. Lectures are unbearable and will do more to confuse you most of the time then anything. Decent grader, but the material is very complicated and he doesn't make what he wants clear. For a 400 I guess its okay.

Please save your time and your GPA, do not take this professor for 393 or 408. The most boring, uncaring professor I have taken thus far. Exams are created from a pool of questions he has at the end of every chapter of his textbook (which is useless.) Not sure how or why he is even qualified to be a university professor

Super boring lectures. Give exam questions a day or two before and from the 20+ possible questions he picks 3 and you answer 2. Very dull material with no relation to other questions or the real world

This is probably one of the easiest econ classes at UD. 'Textbook' is on sakai and written by him. Gives the essay questions before the exams, sometimes only the day before, and then he chooses 3 of those given and you have to answer 2. There is also a long paper due for a final but he's a pretty easy grader. Show up to class and the exams are easy

this guy is a total dud. each week the class size gets smaller and he usually ends up lecturing to no one as everyone stays on the comps. study around 20 questions for each exam and only 3 will be on there. 3.33% reduction in average grade with each miss (random attendance). ok 400 level, but definitely a bad professor hiding from the real world

The most boring class I have ever taken in my life. He speaks in a monotone voice and is unclear. There are 3 tests, each of which is 2 questions, and each test there are anywhere from 20-30 possible questions that could be on it. Be prepared to study a bunch of stuff that you won't need to know. Save yourself some anger and don't take this class.

Don't even bother. Worst class I've ever taken. Really nice guy and very knowledgeable, but extremely boring and monotone. You can't even rely on reading the textbook because he wrote it so it is just as boring and unclear.

Do not take this class unless you are set on getting your doctorate in law and econ. Lectures and text are extremely unclear and confusing. Very monotone and boring. Find another 400-level econ to satisfy your requirement.

One of the most boring economics professors at UD. Although the material is interesting it's hard to pay attention. Class is mandatory but takes random attendence. Pretty sure he never actually reads the final paper but overall an easy class.

Avoid this class at all costs. I am an econ major and have received As in all of my classes and this class is by far the worst econ class I have taken. His text is incomplete/unclear and his exams are the most time consuming unreasonable to prepare exams ever. Taking 4 hours to teach myself 1 question out of 10 is just ridiculous. Save yourself.

Urban Econ- Honestly as a senior econ major this guy was of no help. He is so monotone i could not pay attention and his office hours are useless. Everything he talks about is a basic economic theory you learned in 151.

Very, very bland. Easy class if you go. BE AWARE of new attendance policy in his classes, 3 free absences after that its minus 3% off your grade every time, dropped my A- to a B+ because of that. 2-3 exams and 1 final paper on a city. Bring a laptop to class take notes 60% of the time and you'll survive the boredom.

Very monotone, very bland. Kind of your stereotypical economics professor. Nice enough guy and very knowledgable, but not engaging at all. The exams aren't extremely hard if you study and go over practice questions on Sakai. There were 3 exams and a final paper.

Make sure you have had your coffee, although it's better than 408. Extremely helpful and pretty funny. Two tests and a paper, not bad. One of the easiest 300 level econ's I've taken.

This class was pretty good. It's hard to understand some of the law terms if you've never had that before so expect some effort because of that. Easy 2 tests and a paper. He does speak in a monotone so make sure you've had caffeine. I zoned out more in this class than econ 393 with him because of the law terms.

Easy as Pie, the easist class that I have taken since transfering to UD. Barely went to class. Get notes from classmates. Join the study groups for test time. Easy A. Just take a note card and seat in the back during test time.
