Comment:

Very unclear when it comes to requirements as he does not follow the syllabus strictly. Did not review what was on the final exam but even having open notes exams do not help much. Have to do many case briefs over the semester and is very nit picky for details on every assignment and will grade accordingly. Interesting humor and can get off topic.

Terrible teacher, doesn't teach anything clearly, what is on the quizzes he doesn't teach. Tells you one things is on the quiz and it's Completely opposite of what he says. Worst teacher I've ever had

He is just OK. If you're taking upper level accounting courses with him you really need to pay attention to everything he says in class & take good notes. His exams are really tough, but he curves them which is a help. He knows his material very well, but goes through it very quickly. Make sure you participate & show that you care about doing well.

Probably my favorite professor at Pace. I've had him for two classes now and I wish I had him for every accounting class. He explains things well if you know accounting. Plus he's hilarious and was always entertaining in class. Exams are fair and he curves too. Take him, he's the man!

True he goes off on tangents. He knows his material but cannot relay his knowledge to you. Weekly quizzes in lieu of midterms but there''s a final. Easy to get a better grade because of quiz frequency but hard based on his lectures. The final was hard. He curves though. Nice guy but not a good instructor for learning. Be prepared for self study.

Not sure what's with all the bad reviews, but I thought he was one of the better professors I've had. He actually makes the material interesting and cracks jokes in class to keep our attention. Curves quizzes and lets you use index cards. I would definitely recommend him.

Excellent person and professor. Teaches everything you need to know and cracks jokes in class. Goes off on tangents but it makes the class less boring. Weekly quizzes because on in class problems. Not easy quizzes but with a little bit of studying a good grade is possible. Would take them again

Love this man and his personality, but he cant teach. Always goes on tangents about non relevant topics, and knows the material too well that he cant teach it in a way that someone who knows NOTHING about accounting would understand. Quizzes, Tests, its all hard.

He is horrible. Gets off topic all the time and very unorganized. Only one midterm, one final, weekly quizzes. The midterm was easy but the final was impossible to pass. He puts topics and vocabs on the final that he never taught us. He just gives everyone a curve on the final. The hardest final I've ever taken in Pace.

Great professor! He makes the material interesting. He goes over problems in the textbook before quizzes so you know what to expect and he lets you use notes on quizzes. You should read the chapter before but if you pay attention and do your work there's no reason to get less than a B in his class.

Amazing man! Deinitely was not looking forward to a twice a week, 2 hour accounting class. DiBenedetto makes it fun, and surprisingly entertaining. Weekly quizzes, and homeworks, but definitely worth taking!

Comment:

Awesome guy, but okay teacher. If you're a girl, he will talk to you and help you. Very heavy textbook use. To do the homeworks he assigns once a week and to pass the weekly quizzes you need to read the chapters and use class notes. Skipping is not a good idea.
