He grades reatively hard when comapred to the other instructors. I persoanlly ahvent been a fan of the writing classes. However for his part, his comments were helpful and honest. None of this "needs more work" crap. his comments were liek a conversation he had with your paper.

What a nice guy! Sure, his lectures may be a bit slow and may drag on at times, but aside from that, it's not so bad. Recipe for good grade = office hours and follow the advice he writes on your papers.

Fun teacher. Throws in jokes into leactures to make them more fun. Has many interesting ideas. The beast writing teacher I have ever met. The only bad thing is the grading. He grades really hard and other than that its a really fun class.

I agree he is sometimes funny. He says that writing is way to express yourself. He is willing to help students. He makes everyone participate in class and he doesn't reject any answers. He usually makes the class goes by fast by asking the students to work among each other (group work) and share their thoughts. I reccommend him.

Just a Kick back class. He is always willing to help and his class goes by quickly. He may seem like an easy grader but he is very right in that no one can grade your work, rather he grades on imporvment. Just work on your paper and make them better and he will be pleased with that. Great Class:

Joe's a real nice guy, and he's rather helpful with writing your essays. I recommend Joe for anyone taking 39B. Though sometimes unclear, again, he's very helpful.
