Bring a pillow with you to class and bring one for your friend because lectures are VERY VERY boring. He is monotonous and talks for the entire 85 minutes without stopping. You won't ever get out even 1 minute early. There's 3 tests. 1 Homework (750-1000-word summary) due each week or so. Lots of readings posted to Blackboard that are on the tests.

He's not a particularly stellar professor, but he's not bad either. You do learn a lot about the schools history if you take his class which I thought was pretty cool. His tests are hard though you need to study for them at least 4 days in advance. And keep up with the textbook readings. Pay attention to the reading assignments online.

AWFUL professor! I'm currently taking his History of Economics course which is a required elective for business students. He falls into the category of one of the worst professors. There are typos, spelling and grammatical errors in everything he posts on blackboard. He cuts students off when they ask questions and his lectures are bias. DON'T take

I recommend taking this course. Hybrid and you don't always have the class the day you have to go. Clear cut read all material he gives and you will be good for the test!

He is a nice guy, but he is a hard grader and doesn't let anything get by. Economics is overall a tough subject but he makes it even harder by having boring lectures. He isn't like most professors and you can't even pay attention to him. I really stress the word boring. Highly recommend to not take him. AVOID!

As nice as this teacher is as a person, i would drop his class if given him without a choice. His tests are hard, his class is boring, he brags about himself and all his experience/money, and is a tough grader. His extra credit is attending boring speeches given by boring people usually late in the day which is a hassle and annoying. Avoid him!!

He's a very sweet guy, but his tests are killer. Your grade is solely based on tests. He gives extra credit opportunities frequently, but you're only allowed to do 2 or 3 of them. I considered dropping the class for a while. I wouldn't recommend him

VERY SWEET MAN WHO IS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. YES, HIS LECTURES CAN BE VERY BORING AND HIS CLASS IS NOT EASY. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO READ THE TEXTBOOK IF YOU WANT A CHANCE TO GET AN A. HIS TESTS CAN BE VERY TRICKY SO IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO PUT IN THE EFFORT AND DO THE OUTSIDE WORK THEN DONT BOTHER.

I had him for MACRO and MICRO. Overall, I would say not to take him. His lectures are SO boring! I sat in the front every class to try to listen, and somehow, i would just doze off.. His tests are super tricky! All true and false, 50 questions. But keep in mind, one word in his test questions can change your answer! I wouldn't take him again.

Giacalone is a good guy. You really don't have to pay attention in class. If you know how to study and read the textbook you will do well. He blabs alot, but he sometimes is interesting. READ THE TEXTBOOK.

Personally a nice guy, but I did not like his class. Talks WAY too much about unrelated things. I'm not the kind to sleep during class, but it was hard to stay awake. He assigns tedious work. Gives many opportunities for grade improvement, but they are time consuming. The tests are tricky.

I don't know why so many people complain about him. His tests can have tricky questions but he does power points of the textbook chapters and the textbook has free access online! He assigns homework every few weeks and doesn't like consistent absences. He doesn't give away grades, but what do you expect in college? He even gives extra credit

He rants the entire period and talks about stuff that will never be on the test. Although he gives extra credit, they do not help that much. His course includes 1 test, midterm and final and he gives out a few homeworks here and there. However even though he gives homework sometimes, its always so much and often takes hours complete.. RUN AWAY!!!

Horrible class! He rants for the entire class period about things that will not be on the tests. You must read the book to be able to pass. If you have the choice do NOT take this class.

His exams are really difficult and there is not much information from the textbooks. He emails study guides, but they don't really help. The only positive is the fact that he gives extra credit assignments. Don't take his class unless it's the only choice left

Okay, the person under me has no idea what he/she is talking about. This professor is the worst I have this semester. In the beginning he constantly bragged about how he went to Columbia University. I literally spent the whole day studying and I still feel like I did bad. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!!! RUN FAR, FAR AWAY AND MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOU!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOORINGGGGGGGGGG.... he talks annoyingly and he puts questions like "which of the companies below i have not mentioned in class?" in his tests just to see if you listened... but he gives a lot of extra credits, if you read the book it's an easy A. but try to avoid him.

His examinations had nothing to do with the notes he provided, not the notes in the textbook. He told us attendance is important, but it has no effect on your grade. You have just three tests. You also can attain a lot of extra credit, which helps your grade, but you wont learn anything in class. I prefer learning something, rather than a good grad
