This is by far the best prof on campus. He actually made classes entertaining and was by far the sweetest prof on campus. Your first class you take with him you might think he is a little off but once you get to know him there isn't anyone better. His test are impossible but that's what studying is for.

He is definitely the most eccentric man I've ever met. I hated his class and did not learn from it, but after finishing his class I grew a new affection for the man. He is a tender hearted compassionate man who has been through a lot. This doesn't excuse his poor teaching, but hopefully allows him to be seen in a light of greater grace.

I took the Microbio course a few years ago. Spent time listening to him tell stupid stories then on the material. Only did 5 labs all semester which made me angry. I'm now in Clinical Lab Science at GVSU and I have basically no Micro background thanks to him. What should have been the most interesting and fun course turned out to be aweful.

He's the worst teacher i've ever had in school! He's very unclear. I love how he gives learning goals for the class but the tests don't follow the learning goals. In his Botany class i learned more about how to behead a wild boar than i did about plants!

Scary, scary man. Instead of learning biology, I learned about the mating habits of chickens, the air capacity of a 21-year-old condom, and what happens when a five-year-old swallows chewing tobacco, as well as how tapioca pudding is made.
