She is quite intimidating, but she is a great professor, simply brilliant! The best thing about Dr. Byrne is that she loves the stuff she teaches, causing her enthusism in the material to truly rub off on everyone. Grading is a bit hard. If you study hard, you'll learn a alot and enjoy the class.

She was completely unhelpful. She was the reason I dropped out of my honors program. This woman sees you and automatically assumes that just because you don't have glasses and a pocket protector that you are worthless as a student. I worked so hard, but she still cut me down everyday.

Dr. Byrne really shines in discussion-based classes, although her sense of humor in large lectures still makes class worthwhile. She's not easy, but she's definitely fair and you'll get back what you put in, even if numbers don't necessarily support you.

Dr. Byrne... or Byrne-Cueva... whatever, is a very cool lady (I guess I was a favorite, then) and very smart. She is funny and helpful, connects with students, but is somewhat of a tough grader. I liked her classes a lot.
