This is my most fun class, I never look at the clock. he keeps his students engaged, is very funny, and a really cool guy. However, he is a really hard grader. He expects a lot from his students and takes points of for silly, nitty gritty stuff. Definitely helped me be a better writer though, definitely recommend him

This english class is a lot of fun. The books and films he uses are interesting and not too difficult. His class isn't boring like most English classes because he is funny and knows what he is talking about. He isn't the easiest grader, but at the same time, there are a lot harder graders out there.

I took Jeon for Modern Poetry. he is a really cool guy, very mellow and lax. class has daily homework assignments of 1-2 pages, which can get annoying but arent that bad. he is intelligent and funny, has a diverse and interesting perspective on lit. i definitely didnt expect someone so original. the class is easy if u know anything about poetry

Great teacher. Class load isn't too heavy, just lots of reading and two essays. Make sure you participate in class, since if you don't, your grade will be dropped a whole letter grade. Don't let that scare you though... he's such a good teacher!!!! Take him for sure.

Dr.Jeon is a very laid back and funny guy. His class doesn't even feel like a class but you still learn. The class is reading intensive, but his book selection is great. The presentations jazz up the class and are enjoyable. You need to think for yourself on the essays and not just regurgitate class discussions. Overall, a great class and prof!

Espionage&Detectives: A nice teacher, kinda easy going, but you read around 60 pages a night, and have a lot of reading quizes. Two group presentations 2 papers and a final that was pretty hard. i didnt mind the class but i also struggled with remembering which books and which stories matched up since we read 6 that were similar. Great teacher

Jeon was my advisor, and he was a great professor. As long as you pay attention to his lecture you'll do fine on the tests, and think a little for yourself ont he essays, you will float by easily. He can be a tough grader, so make sure you go see him as often as you can before you turn in essays.

Professor Jeon is a wonderful teacher. He has great selection of books and generates very interesting and thought-provoking discussions in class. He is a pretty hard grader but if you're just fulfilling your requirements just suck it up and take the B-. Its worth the disucssion and the refreshing break from the flood of white/european teachers at USD.

The class I am taking is called Spies and Detectives and it's awesome. The class is reading intensive, but because of the genre, you actually want to read. Jeon makes the class discussions fun because he has a sense of humor. We have a reading quiz usually every other day, so you do need to read.
