While he is very knowledgeable on the subjects he teaches, he cannot convey the information. His class may as well be an online self taught class. He does not provide help within the class and is completely non-contactable outside of class. You need a strong background in all the topics to even have a hope of passing.

The man does not teach at all. I've walked into a lab and walked out with the same amount of knowledge, which is absolutely nothing. You'd think he would explain how to do the labs beforehand so that you wouldn't be standing there clueless.. but think again! I have walked out numerous times pissed off that my money is being used nothing.

Dr. McCade is a great guy, but just not a good teacher. He is very knowledgeable on the topics in class, but is not very good at explaining it to the class. Word of advice, be sure to follow the schedule he gives the first day of class, because if you don't you will miss many assignments, he never tells you when anything is due.

Knows what he's talking about, but teaching is not his thing. Expects you to just know arbitrary bits of knowledge without teaching it. Huge amount of assignments and many of them have to be done twice, but you're allowed multiple attempts so you can get an A, just takes a lot of time. Class is a lesson in frustration management.

Terrible. Awful teacher, sits on his chair the whole class and just talks. Not useful and expects you to do nothing with your free time with his class. If you take him at night make sure you dont work cause you need to do your quizzes right when you get home or youll get an f. Will never take him ever again, not good teacher at all.

Everything he says is confusing. He treats it like a 300 level course where it is expected to know what you are doing. He rarely out right answers your question, simply says read the book. He expects you to apply retrofits to your house for a project and you get massive points off if you do not. 12/10 would NOT take a class with him again

He's very smart. He knows what he's talking about but he can't translate his thoughts to his students. Gives very vague answers and tells you to read the book for answers when the book doesn't have them. Expects you to know SO much before taking class.

To much work for course level and content, strays to far from text material, adds concepts for which he will not provide proper reference. homework(quizzes) are worded in a pointlessly confusing manner. higher prior knowledge of electricity would vbe very helpful.

Good Prof. A lot of people have trouble with the class, he doesn't explain things well sometimes. But, if you put forth an effort and seek out a little extra help, he will go out of his way to get you through and knowledgeable.PS. hes also hilarious!
