By far the most difficult course I've taken at UNH. If you are not willing to really put in work, do not take this class. However, if you show you are trying and care, he notices. I worked 4 days a week and took 3 other classes and passed with a B. I studied really really hard but what I got out of it is priceless. It was worth it.

Worst professor ever. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM. He is the hardest grader because he has one opinion on everything because he is so narrow minded. He also will give you negative grades on quizzes for wrong answers saying it is academic dishonesty. I also have had one mandatory Sunday class, two Sunday exams, and other outside class time meetings

10/10 would not recommend if you're looking for an easy A. Gives negative points on quizzes if he doesn't think you read one of his 1,000 nightly readings. Unapproachable and hard to talk to unless you share his same extremely left and bias views of media.

Meyrowitz is by far the worse professor I have had here at UNH. The test require essay questions that you have to prepare for and he sends them to you about 12 hours prior to the exam! (like at midnight). Class average on papers were C-. Quizzes every day in. The reading is so overwhelming and unrealistic. On top of it he isn't friendly.

If you want to be challenged, this is a great class. However if you are like me and just need credit to graduate, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS EVER. The work load is insane and you will be stressed for the entire semester. Test are impossible, no one in my class has gotten above a C- on a paper, and you basically read a book a week.

One of the worst courses I have ever taken. SUCH a bummer because it has the potential to be an excellent course. Grades TOO tough, assigns way too much work, and generally has a bad attitude. His way or the highway. Rude to visiting guests he invited himself. Would not wish this class and workload upon anyone.

Unrealistic amount of reading required, do not take this class. The exams literally take 10 solid hours at least in the two day span you get to work on them. Then be ready because right when you finish the exam another 120 pages of reading is due Monday! Seriously this class was absurd go far far away.

Strongly consider other options. Hours and hours of homework. Grades unfairly, excessively, and unnecessarily. Have to go to every class if you miss even one good luck on the exam and your participation grade. Takes subject entirely too seriously and will not sympathize if you do not agree with his point of view.... Starting to get the picture?

I didn't realize till the end of the semester that students in other college LEARN ABOUT HIM. He can be a little cocky at times but in general he's a nice guy. He tends to forget that some of his students take three or four other classes and our lives can't revolve around his. He scaled every single exam and I still received a D+ in his class.

He makes asking questions so difficult. He will never answer the question but indirectly put you down. Do not take a class with, my entire class complained for it being way too confusing for an intro level class

hardest class i've taken at unh and i've taken a lot of science courses. he's no help at all. hes way tooo cocky about himself. he's not much help at all. all the reading and notes come from the book he wrote himself. exams are super hard. I would definitely take this class with a DIFFERENT professor.

After taking this class you will never see the world the same way again with that being said you have to work for it. This was my least favorite and favorite class at the same time. The work was excruciating but the return is priceless. Every citizen in the US should be exposed to the content taught in his class. I would take it all over again.

This class is hard There is A LOT of reading. Quiz questions are broad but he tells you in advance how he wants them answered Tests are long but he gives you a list of possible questions in advance He has high expectations & is egotistical but so very intelligent Do the work pay attention & be ready to sell your soul to pass you'll be happy you did

Way too much reading-was only able to mainly focus on this class leaving other classes in the dust. only given about 4 minutes for reading quizzes that had 10 questions with multiple parts. I also had him as an advisor and he was very rude - egotistical. Wouldn't help me because he doesn't specialize in it…but he's my set advisor & department head.

He is generally a nice person, but his class is rediculously difficult. He assigns hours of reading which you will not be able to keep up in class without. He also assigns out of class videos and tons of papers. The class was very interesting, but close to impossible.

Ridiculous amounts of reading. He gives you about 2 min to complete quizzes, and will take points off if you do not answer the questions exactly how he wants, yet he makes the questions vague. So far I really regret taking this class.

I feel like people want to say Meyrowitz is a good professor just because he likes to give off the impression that he cares and wants to challenge you. The truth is, the class is still geared towards the lower half of the class. He also seems to hit on female students, am I wrong???
